Referenced Memory Could Not Be Read

I get this error whenever I complete the installation of Firefox (without installing maintenance service). It also happens once every few hours when playing the game Red Dead Redemption 2. The game crashes like this:

Preset is attached, please check.

nuhi

I'll try the Firefox scenario and report back if replicated.
Do I have to update via Windows Update after removals?
Maybe it was done in the background.
Try NTLite - Source - toolbar - Tools - Remove Reinstalls if you updated, that might solve it, unless it's a driver or hardware issue.
Remove Reinstalls is a must after an update to preserve stability, will automate it after few more tasks/weeks.

I used to manually update (downloading from catalogue and running it)

I see the "Remove Reinstalls" feature is very new now. Nuhi thank you for your important hard work. We the people love you. I downloaded the update today and I ran it. I'll need to have some time with the game. I'll report back :)

KEEP IT GOING nuhi!!!!!! (Cos we can't stand Windows as it is)

Still getting freezes (the program is not responding-could be a game bug) but memory could not be read issue seems to be solved.

OK, keep me updated, and I doubt that game freezing can be influenced by removing something, it would simply not run in that case.

wow i saw my post from 2019.... its been years and we figured out this issue like last week because we couldn't easily replicate it.... :p With the latest update v2.3.3.8567 this issue is fixed.

Fix1: Components: ‘Error Reporting’ components refactored, now removes a service as well, while API is split to cover WerFault silent app errors handling
Fix2: Components: ‘Shared Experiences’ Win10 removal was needed for Settings – Display

I see that you use old NTLite, and your preset removes error reporting, so you had the same issue. Update ntlite and keep using your same preset. (OFC Keep error reporting API)

Your issue is probably fixed too.

i've been having this bug since 2020 man... its amazing how something so simple can take years to fix, will update the ntlite right away, oh i've seen you responded quickly i accidently removed push notification svc from this build and cant have icons on taskbar, is there a way to fix it without creating a new build?

You can do hostrefresh if you are premium user

First of all if this topic addresses the same point as in this one, the crashing was never caused by removals, but the errors would be silent if no Error Reporting API.
If you ask me it's a bit of a benefit to know when something crashes, but that's debatable if you cannot do anything about it and it's normal - then it might be better to stay silent - thus the needed piece was split.

Just one good example with reproducible steps, as crypticus instructed me in another topic to replicate it, then it's "easy" to pin-point.
