hi nuhi,

Help….

I have tried to make windows 10 lite but the results are not optimal, I want to remove /hidden/disable but always failed, what should I remove permanently from the windows component :

1.Recovery

2.Security and Maintenance

3.Backup and Restore (windows 7)

4.Troubleshooting

5.AutoPlay

6.RemoteApp and Dekstop Connections

7.File History

8.Storange Spaces

I always use windows 10 without recovery and reserved partition

Thanks

Also, everyone has their own idea of an 'optimal' ISO, so it is always better to configure your own as one person's idea of optimized may not be suitable for someone else..

A lot of presets remove things like mail, biometrics , and a few other things... for one person, they may remove them. for me they are ess4ential. Advice can be given, but just saying ' i tried to optimise it ' without an idea of the final image you are trying to obtain is very hit and miss.

From licensed NTLite, you can create a custom disk layout with only EFI and system partitions. If not, make your own unattended.xml with the same disk layout instructions.

Storage Spaces is useful for cleaning up Windows temp files on a schedule. You should keep Troubleshooting, unless you know how to repair Windows by yourself. These features don't take up much room.
