hi,

I want to make a windows 10 home unattended and I do not want it to update and then I can put an original serial. it's possible

Yes. Try the free version and let me know if you get stuck.
Basically you set the key on the Unattended page, disable Service Windows Update on the Services page and there are few Windows Update options on the Settings page.

I'm stuck I want you to erase Windows Update whole so you do not update windows my english is not perfect

To remove Windows Update, uncheck the component under the Components and Apply the change.
If the component is blue, then you need to purchase a license to remove it.

Has anyone confirm this is working at the present??
I have been reading reports that any effort to stop these 'forced updates' is now failing, starting with making changes in Group Policy Edit which use to work, but doesn't anymore.

My 1st priority is to block any and all updates, so as many of the 'tweaks' that 'Classic Shell' has still wotk, unlike the recent 'builds' of W10 according to many others where updates 'break' these 'tweaks'.

Using a firewall you have complete control of is the first step, preventing anything you don't want having outbound access, that's what firewalls are for...

That's providing;
1. You have ALL of M$'s servers listed,
2. None of those ever change.

Good luck with both!

No.. you just block everything from connecting out besides what you want/need to use the internet, and that isn't a whole lot.

Most firewalls already have a "whitelist" so people can connect to the internet just fine upon install, that whitelist will include a number of windows services including Windows update.

Block everything, setup your own rules, if windows update can't connect out, servers do not matter.

How do i know this? i've done it.

If you dont need the internet for windows specific things, get a cheap used laptop/netbook or a 2nd pc knocked up from old working parts and use linux. I can quickly knock up a windows test build, get list of updates needed then go back to linux n download them. The older i get the less patience i have to make windows "internet ready".

So block the entire Internet in a PC?.

Next idea?

Seeing as you changed your reply from streaming box to PC.

You want to stop windows updates, and thats the best way to do it besides getting NTlite and removing it that way... i don't see why you would want to use Windows 10 for streaming anyway... theres better things for that.

I can browse the internet with firefox using 4 simple rules, it's rather easy going forward from there.

"removable only in live mode" how to solve this problem please reply. And explain how to use live mode.

Still greyed out, looks like Microsoft embedded it like they did Telemetry a couple updates ago.

Is there a version of 10 that will allow us to remove windows update? 1607 perhaps?
That's what I'd like to know. Since I've yet to get any feedback on the issue I've had slipstreaming Build 1903 for almost 2 months now, with a suggestion that Win. update may be the most likely culprit
(https://www.ntlite.com/community/in...ed-error-win-10-1903-eng-int.2193/#post-18309), I was wondering if an earlier build could do the trick, because each Build 1903+ISO source I've download has tested clean prior to doing NtLite sessions....
