Removing Windows Component Store (WinSXS)

i'm trying to remove Removing Windows Component Store (WinSXS) in windows 10 21h2
i tried many times but it's not working i get as showin in the screenshot

there is nothing else in the preset
it's stuck on removing
i don't have a problem with removing anything else
i'm on the last free version (no license)

The free version is very limiting to what can be done. Maybe it's trying to remove something that is needed for the paid version

For what it is and my own opinion. Purchasing NTLITE has been a great/wonderful experience for me and extremely good value for my money. Windows is only going to get bigger and having a program that allows me to remove what I want is a blessing.

Hope someone else is more helpful for you in this because I have never used the free version.

Removing WinSxS is a licensed feature.



When you remove WinSxS it means you cannot update Windows, enable/disable features, or run SFC check/repair.
It's exchanging a smaller install for a non-upgrading PC.

For updating or adjusting OS without the component store, try Host Refresh on Win10/11.

Big mistake in 10 and 11. If you delete anything in WinSxS folder you destroy your install if remove folders here.
Future updates will always NOT be possible without a payed NTL.
And users who think a so called cracked accessible version of NTL claim to do the "thing" is false.
Free user have to have a taste what tool can do - but mostly needed NTL features have to pay for it, to make it work.
That's normal.

In Free/Unlicensed mode only Manifest Backup(Winsxs\Backup) can be removed, you cannot even select Windows Component Store(winsxs) for removal.
