Save all my preferences

Is there a way to save all my preferences? Everytime when I load a different Image I have to set up them. Any suggestions?

You have to realize everyone else is not on the same timezone as you, and in addition to that it's only been a little over an hour since you posted. Most businesses generally take 24-72 hours to respond. Also, NTLite is developed by only 1 person, the rest of us are all just users of the program and we voluntarily help people.

If you want assistance faster in the future you should provide specifics, it's one of the biggest issues we have here on the forum, people give us practically no information then expect us to know what they're talking about.

So for example, what preferences are you referring to? Do you mean the general settings in NTLite found in the file menu, or are you talking about things like selecting component removals?

I'm sorry. I will be more patient. I'm talking about things like selecting for example component removals. Then I want reinstall windows 10 with the current version or I will try out Win11. And now I have the difficult that I have to re-select all preferences.

I noticed you've been a member for a few years, so the first thing I'd have you do is make sure this is a fresh installation of NTLite, so that we can eliminate all potential variables, such as having an outdated version, a messed up settings file, or anything else that could be problematic. Also be sure to activate your license again after installing NTLite.

What your describing with the component removals and those options from the menu that runs vertically along the left side are all saved into an XML file, which is called a "Preset". The XML file is created automatically after every time you process an image, and it's saved in a menu on the right side that has a prefix called "Auto-save". You can right-click on those for more options.

NTLite also asks if you want to import a previous Auto-save XML whenever you load an image, unless you disabled that option in File > Settings, which is why I want you to start with a clean install of NTLite because I have a feeling you're working on an outdated version and/or you modified it so all the help tips are disabled which explain these things.

To import an XML you must first load a Windows image, then the menu bar at the top changes over to the "Preset" tab where you can click "Load" on the top left. Also you can load the XML's listed on the Auto-save preset menu on the right side.

To export an XML, you must first load a Windows image and also change something, such as selecting a component to remove, then you can click the "Save" button from that "Preset" tab at the top left and it will save it to an XML file.
