Set NTLite to use an NVME SSD only.

I have(it arrives saturday) an older FM2+ motherboard that does not support nvme boot and i am not going to modify the bios to allow it. The OS will run on a sata ssd and i want to set NTLite to use the nvme drive only for mounting and scratch files etc. Would i be better off creating my own custom locations or duplicate the default folder structures as if it was doing it on C drive.

Thought i would post this here instead of pmikep's topic as it will be easy to find and helpful for others who are also running older hardware. :)

I think you have to set the SATA drive as Active and Boot drive (or partition) and the NVME as Primary drive only and, if necessary, add the drivers to the boot.wim and install.wim

If you don't want to use the NVME as a system drive, you can set the NVME drive the way you feel comfortable handling files and folders, i prefer to have another structure in a second drive.

I have checked the manual and and know these boards dont support nvme boot so it doesnt have to be seen during setup because its just agoing to be a Project drive, not the system C drive. Windows 7 will have the ms nvme driver package installed on the captured wim but not 3rd party nvme drivers, i am building a Universal iso not a system specific one.
