Slipstreamed Windows 10 updates are downloaded and installed again from Windows Update

Hello,
I am using the Beta version of NTLite to integrate the latest updates into our 1903 setup folder. NTLite successfully detects the required updates, and downloads them:

The updates are then successfully integrated and written to ISO:

After upgrading a Windows 10 1703 PC using the slipstreamed image, the WinVer command reflects the correct, expected version:
WinVer.png
However, if the user clicks to check for updates in Windows Update, it does not detect one of the slipstreamed updates (KB4515384), and proceeds to download and install the update:

I also tried this using the Stable version of NTLite, but the problem was worse. In the stable version, none of the slipstreamed updates were detected by Windows Update and they were all downloaded and installed again.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a bug?

Thank you!

Stable and beta version have identical downloaders and integrators, difference for now is just in a few added components in the beta.
You probably used the stable version wrongly, not saved image changes, made a new ISO elsewhere, used old/unedited one for testing, something along those lines.
Btw did that version which downloaded all updates still needed the same update over and over, if you got to that?

That said, if the KB4515384 is not some Windows issue due to an upgrade, I need your preset to make sure it's not something like update cleanup or a component removal, that causes it.
If the screenshot is showing all that was done, meaning just update integration, then it's not an NTLite issue, as it uses Windows mechanisms to integrate updates, no custom steps.
If anything else was done to the image, please send me or attach (overwrite any private data from it) autosaved session xml, a preset from that 1903 image or Source - Presets list if you know which it was exactly.

Thanks.

windows always downloads and installs latest cumulative update for one more time even if u integrate it.. this always had the same with my iso's too...

Hi Nuhi,
Other than integrate the updates, the only other feature I used was to remove the unused Operating Systems from the image. I've attached both the AutoSave and the NTLite log.

ege914 - it's good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I hope it can be fixed as it defeats the purpose of slipstreaming otherwise.

That does not happen for me. I add MRT and Windows Defender Platform Update by script after install, then the only thing in Windows Update installs is Security Intelligence Update for Windows Defender Antivirus.
