So, it's been months and the whole can't set Firefox as default program hasn't been fixed yet?

I mean, it's pretty annoying. I've had this happen countless of times, when removing internet explorer.

Seeing as it works 'in real time' without a reboot (as most Class changes normally seem to need) I would assume it would work that way as well since upon adding it as an exception the value simply wouldn't be removed.

I haven't tried anything new but try this:

*Forget it.

A workaround works for most people.

How to say this while drunken and yet politely? NO. I've wasted enough time on this issue (and seemingly with a fix already) without any actual helpful input from those people affected. What is the point of your proposed case and why should I waste even more time on such what if scenarios as that, wtf?

Thanks for your time, I'll waste mine to find a real fix that prevents that issue.
Who knows who is drunken and who isn't anytime of the day?

Apparently not in all cases or this wouldn't be an issue/thread. geez
When I asked to try a new user in the same image, is because "something" brings back the value on every new user account but you are on the right way about removing the ID.

When asked to do a test that would take you ~2 minutes, you went insane and i decided to let it go because i had to slim and install 1809.
There was no such complain.

FF really sux when slimming, but anyone who use it will find out how it sux, not only as default browser.

I dont know Kas, ive been using FF since i first got into pooters and im happy with it, use slimjet on occasion.

Have you tested FF in 1809?
In older Windows builds works ok unless FF is changing the code to depend on Windows components.

Havnt tersted FF in any w10 because i never put 10 online, i use FF esr on 8.1 and esr is standard in Debian.

They aint got a choice, keep up or die.

I like Palemoon, but tested FF, Vivaldi (Chromuim based) and Xombrero in Q4OS, Palemoon won the test.

Im wary or various distros/variations of things, Debian is working better than other flavours, FF esr is working well enough on 8.1 and fleebian, i tend to stick with old reliables until they shuffle off the mortal coil, run down the curtains and join the bleeding choir invisibule.

Hey guys, just to let you know, you can fix this by keeping the 64-bit version of IE11 in components.

Might need the 32-bit html viewer too.
