Removing Client.CBS will break the modern W10/11 desktop.
Code:
                <c>microsoftwindows.client.cbs 'Windows Feature Experience Pack'</c>

That component really needs more protection at this point, since it comes up too often.
if its that dangerous mark it "removal not allowed" and give a warning "breaks desktop". by keeping the entry users can see the component and why they have to keep it. remove it from the list people will ask you to add it.

users need to know that sometimes you have to keep the kitchen sink.

I've explained this problem a few times. After my insistence, nuhi originally made it harder to remove Client.CBS.

But too many gamers read some online crap that instructed them to remove Client.CBS. And they all cried that NTLite was blocking their mods! And nuhi relented. If it was my choice, NTLite would force a pop-up warning that you would have to dismiss every time.

agreed. on the Components page Apply page or both?

i would go one step further and not allow tool to process the image but on Alpha builds i would allow Apply because alphas are all about testing stuff out right?

The original mitigation was you got a red warning on the Apply page. I would prefer a pop-up to happen if you started Apply, and then have a checkbox if you never wanted to be warned again.

After that, I could simply yell at users for ignoring the obvious. ;)

It is true that this component must be kept with the start menu among other things, to avoid any problems
I delete both, so no worries

Alphas are used to test new components, UI modifications, cleaning, etc... and when it's integrated into the stable version, it's the same thing (except currently where there have always beta components for a while )

PS: we had discussed with "nuhi" about the warnings a long time ago, and we had kept the warnings in red on the Apply page
Maybe it will change

Hey, now i did not remove this
Code:
                <c>microsoftwindows.client.cbs 'Windows Feature Experience Pack'</c>

but still it is just showing the generic Picture. do you have any other idea?

I still don't see anything weird. Try making another version, without adding any Post-Setup tweaks or reg imports.
