Hi
Sticky notes is needed by 2 components I think.
In this preset there is something that break Sticky Notes.
and I thinks its needed allso by
'Windows Sidebar' and gadgets can someone help me whats break it or have a idea

Gadgets are a known vulnerability and were removed(using an update) from w7 if i am correct. I dont use either 3 so remove them. Sticky Notes is a seperate package from sidebar/gadgets.

Possibles, accessibility 'Accessibility tools (Ease of Access), easeofaccessthemes 'Ease Of Access Themes', help 'Windows Help content'(i doubt it), osk 'On-Screen Keyboard (Tablet PC) and osk_acc 'On-Screen Keyboard (Accessibility tools), tabletpc 'Tablet PC'.

wmitools 'Windows Management Instrumentation Tools' is needed by and breaks som ehardware monitoring tools, HWMon and AMD OverDrive. If you use anything like that test it before removing. :)

If you can setup a test partition then live remove them 1 at a time you will find the bogey very quickly.

ultraform, will check and report these days, thanks.

This issue also affects with Windows 10 1803 + there is a very common store error (0x80073CF9), tried all or almost all fixes and none worked, kept wallet, store related component (not marked as dependency/recommended), windows defender, smartscreen; in setup page: apps permisson disabled for appointment, email and messages. None fixed the stickynotes or store.

I can send the preset by mail later.

Fixed in the next version.
It was the Unified Telemetry Client removal.
If you need a pre-release, contact me.

Thanks.

I can not test on other partion I have 1 SSD only :/

Thanks, seems it's also the TabletPC, fixed for next. Sending you a PM with pre-release.

ultraform Even with a single hdd/ssd you can if you have enough space, 40gb is sufficient. If you only have 1 pc or laptop with limited ram, 4gb or less then its stil possible.

I never use sticky notes, i use old fashioned pencil and paper and a magnet, reliable. :)

I had the same problem. Either Hyper-V Guest (under Virtual hard disk support) or a sub-component of it is causing the problem. Leaving Hyper-V in the image prevented 0x80073CF9 errors.

Kasual and Toad004, regarding the Store 0x80073CF9 issue, I tried removing the Hyper-V Guest branch and some other, Store logs on and downloads/installs apps fine.
Can you please attach the preset demontrating the issue using the latest version from a fresh/updated ISO, and let me know the example app to try?
Thanks.

I don't about Hyper-V but here is my preset (haven't tested with less removals).
I've been troubleshooting 7 to format and install to test 1803 (the .1 build giving weird 4350 errors) removals.

Already installed (integrated apps) get updated, choose any app and try (f.lux is small size, telegram, whatsapp), it only download the package but doesn't get installed, when you try again, the store downloads some more KB or MB (depends on the app size) bt again it get stuck.

The store will log in and install SOME apps, but not others.
Examples to try are f.lux, ditto, sharex, paint.net (warning - PAID!) and eartrumpet. Be sure it's the store version and not the desktop version of those apps.

I assure you I removed components one at a time until the apps refused to install and Hyper-V Guest was the culprit. It could be you haven't tried any of the apps that don't work (for example, solitaire collection, minesweeper, skype, and 2048 all work, so it's not universal).

I admit the problem could also be that my main desktop uses Windows 10 EDUCATION - perhaps the problem simply doesn't occur on Home or Pro editions? My Laptop has a Pro version, I'll get some presets for both desktop and laptop ready and compare.

EDIT: Attached below are the presets from the current install on my desktop. Remove those components and the aforementioned store apps still work. Add on Hyper-V guest and they break. Still working on the laptop.

I created this preset and installed in on my laptop using the latest ISO from Microsoft's media creation tool.

Using this preset, the store worked just fine. I installed f.lux and it worked.
Then, I installed NTlite and live uninstalled Hyper-V Guest.
After rebooting, f.lux stopped working, and Ditto Clipboard would not install.

I breaked Sticky Notes again =( when I removed this on Live OS

And a other quastion I asked this before but how do I remove this (Speech Recognition) :O ?speecch.jpg

I think in your language is taligenkänning.

If you change NTLite to english, you will find speech recognition in Multimedia.
If you want to localize the Speech recognition name, open windows explorer and in the address bar, type this:
%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessibility
...and save there the attached desktop.txt file as desktop.ini and set the hidden attribute.

Toad004, it was the Containers removal, fixed, will send you a pre-release link. Releasing beginning of next week. Thanks.

ultraform, thanks for the feedback, will check and report back.

ultraform, I removed all possible components on Win7 live, using the new build 6440.
Kept just Sticky Notes, and it worked.
Maybe I was lucky, maybe it's about the combo, maybe it was fixed, please let me know of the exact preset(s) if you manage to see the issue again.

Thanks.
