Unable to run Office OneNote

Did you remove the snipping tool?
Do not remove the snipping tool if you want to use OneNote 2016.
For me that was the solution for this problem.

Is that true? Why does the Snipping tool affect Ofice OneNote? So, I don't have a choice and I have to have it when I don't want it?

EDIT: Thanks, it looks like you were right. It's annoying that I have to have it to be able to run Office OneNote.

Thanks guys, will see about moving the needed piece from Snipping Tool to something like Store or its own needed component.
Something about graphics and MS apps it seems.

@Windows 10 User and @niros, can you please try just newly released build 6025, if this dependency is still present, please attach the preset demonstrating it.
Thanks.

Could you answer my other questions?
This topic is about the One Note issue, you can send me private message as reminders, but we already talk on other topics as well.

It looks like it was fixed. I removed the Snipping Tool and I can run Office OneNote.

Yes, but you didn't answer my final questions in the NTLite build 5955 - 1.6 beta 2 thread.

Tested with : NTLite v1.6.0.6025 x64
OS: Win10 Pro v1709 x64

Removed also the snipping tool.

OS Installed in VM.
Installed MS Office 2016 x64 (Excel + OneNote)

Result:
OneNote does not start and comes with the 'Desktop Experience ...' message.

Strange, I only installed Office OneNote (along with the required component) in Windows 10 Enterprise 1709 x64 and I didn't have this problem. I used the 1.6.0.6025 x64 NTLite version.

Does anyone know why there is no "suspend" button in Windows 10 ?, I guess I deleted something that is related to that.

Because the check of yesterday was actually step 2 in the 'NTliting' process. I do my first step again with the new NTLite version.

Tested with NTlite 1.6.0.6025 x64 and Windows 10 v1709 x64.

Step 1:
  1. From the original ISO select the Windows version (EDU/ENT/PRO) - Pro selected
  2. Change some settings
  3. Do not remove any component.
  4. Apply changes
  5. Install Win10 in VM
  6. Install Office 2016 x64 (Excel + OneNote) -> Ok , Onenote starts without any problem
Step 2:
  1. Start from step 1
  2. Select also snipping tool
  3. Remove components 449 Files 22107 (2916 MB) install size 5209 MB
  4. Install Win10 in VM
  5. Office 2016 x64 (excel + Onenote) -> Error Startup OneNote
    1518620449178.png
  6. Excel start without any issue.
Preset step 2 + log added. (some unattend sections of the preset removed.)

So, like I said, removing the Snipping Tool with the latest version of NTLite doesn't break Office OneNote.

EDIT: It looks like I have the Office OneNote problem again.
