USB-C Power Delivery

Hi there, I'm having issues with getting USB-C PD to work and am wondering if there are any known conflicts? Apart from removing USB drivers/support, of course.
 
Not what I know of - but could it be the USB-C cable that is not suitable for the PD power delivery (A)?
 
Or the machine in question can be incompatible, like Dell G Series. It supports everything EXCEPT power delivery though USB-C (With good reason, mind you, there is no USB-C PD capabilities to deliver the 240W the RTX variants need to work properly), so the protocol is disabled within hardware and BIOS.
