i thought that i would be able to spit out a iso from a legit and tweeked install of win 11 home from my asus, rufus a jump drive and install it onto my new 7gbs samsung pro 2tb nvme ssd.
For transferring your system image to a new SSD, you're better off using pro-grade backup programs like Macrium Reflect Free or older versions of Acronis True Image. It doesn't sound like you're trying to recreate the Windows image from scratch.
Other help forums like TenForums & MSFN cover this exact question in more detail.
When you DISM capture an image, it copies everything including all installed programs and personal files. Which is fine if you're cloning, but doesn't make sense if you want a re-install image.
