What and why not to remove [Win 7]

[WINDOWS 10] (maybe for Windows 7 too)
Support for reading asiatic characters in web browsers:

Due a problem I had ( HERE ), I found that in order to be able to read asiatic characters in asiatic webpages ( eg. www.qq.com ) using Firefox or Chrome, you must keep the SimSun text font, because it seem this is the default font these webbrowsers will use, and if the font is not found, you will not see asiatic characters.

In the attached image you can see the components that I kept in order to solve the problem. The IME components were unnecessary and they occupy much size, so I just removed them.

The problem relies in the website design and removing other needed fonts (the same will happen in other OS's if all fonts are removed), not only in the Simsun font removal, the IME components are needed for asian typing (IME stands for Input Method Editor = Text Input Processor).

Inspecting elements shows me these fonts being used;

sans-serif, SimSun, "Arial Narrow", HELVETICA.
When a website design lists fonts to be used, it uses the first font listed, when the first font isn't found in the system, the next listed font is used, when the listed fonts aren't found, you will see rectangles (i have seen the rectangles at the right of 'Speakers' and programs names in the windows mixer audio when removing 3 fonts, reported today dec 5-6).

Can someone tell me which component to leave for the network adapter to appear in control panel.

Attached is my current preset. It's pretty much everything from the OP and I've made sure to keep :

Internet Protocol Helper
Simple TCP/IP services

Do I also need to keep Network and Sharing Center? Is there a similar guide/post on maximum component removal for Windows 10?

Thanks

edit : nevermind looks like I need to run ncpa.cpl or create the recommended shortcut.
edit2: hmm, have access to icon and ability to change DHCP or manual set but not getting any network connectivity on bridged or NAT adapter enabled on virtual machine settings. The IP stays at 169.254.92.187

This isn't a maximum component removal post, this is information added to the notes that already exists in the NTLite tool.

If you want to keep working the network, check the compatibility VM option, network map and network discovery.

I have added a "font removal safe list" only for who uses only spanish and english characters, it is probably safe for other language (italian? portuguese? other?) that uses the same characters. If there is a needed font type (arabic or asian type), keep it.

The fonts kept are listed when changing font in notepad, other fonts are needed for the UI (Marlett, Malgun Gothic and Ms Gothic).

There are some protected fonts for hebrew, japanese, simplified chinese language.

The wikipedia's list shows the Windows version release, when Ms introduced every font.

Seems like Sitka font exists in Win 10 but there is no info about the font in Ms fonts list.

The OEM Vector fonts aren't listed in Notepad but in the fonts folder we can see the oem* fonts (in filenames), none as Vector, the title font shows no vector fonts (mounted untouched ISO) but are listed in NTLite.

More info here:
The list of Windows 7 fonts is here.

The list of Windows 8 fonts is here.

The list of Windows 8.1 fonts is here.

The list of Windows 10 fonts is here.
