Which Windows 7 Updates are Safe to Integrate?

I just joined to forum for this question, but i'm using NTLite for long time, i was using it just for unattend setup, but today i tried to integrate updates to my Windows 7 x64 MSDN iso, NTLite integrated and created iso file successfully, but i tried to test iso file in a virtual machine and it gave that error;

( im faceing it at windows 7 setup picture is just for example )

so i'm not able to install Win7. I'm using WUD - Windows Updates Downloader to download Win7 update packs ( running win10 machine by the way ) and using NTLite to integrate them... Here is the NTLite log for a clue, thanks in advance.

Seems like there is only one modification.

Did you changed "MSRDC-Infrastructure"?

For the updates (x86 and x64):
https://www.ntlite.com/community/index.php?threads/windows-7-updates-download-list-2018-01.141/
There is some more info inside the text files.

where is the"MSRDC-Infrastructure" option to modify it ( first saw here )
I think that is 'Remote Differential Compression API Support'

Is there enough space in the drive?

Read the text file (important).

There are links for your language, one direct link (spelling) that can be added to download and the IE11 installer download page.

Remove the text/links that are not necessary and save the text file and import with Free Download Manager or, instead of importing the text file, select all the links and copy, in Free Download Manager use Import - From the clipboard

yes i disabled Remote Differential Compression API Support because i saw it as a solution HERE but it didnt worked. Thanks for your reply for how to use that .txt files i'll try again...

one more question is that .txt files containing all of windows 7 sp1 updates or just important updates ?

Almost all, as i have said, read the info inside the file, there are links separated that cointains telemetry (spyware) and get windows 10 (gwx) (the unneeded monthly cumulative update is not there).

Good luck.

Only what i think it can be is, a corrupt Iso or some of the settings that making this problem. Or a broken Update but then Ntlite shuld make a warning. So i think some of the Settings making this :O

i'll try to download new MSDN .iso and only integrate updates without changing any settings thanks for reply

The process that i have is update the source, make a backup and then start slimming down.

In the preset file seems like you have a setupcomplete.cmd in sources\$OEM$\$$\setup\scripts.

Yes I was adding post-setup files for auto installing programs but, I already tried to remove them but still same, so I said I'll re-do all process with only integrating update files.

When you update the source only and make a backup, you don't have to do another update if something goes wrong with removals, just take a copy from the previous backup and save time.

successfully installed in virtual machine but still left some updates to download manually, now i have to find which setting causes stucking is there any way to find out? One last question, can i hide updates from windows update with NTLite?

You have missed something.

Check the end of the list of "Important & optional updates", there is "IE11 localized offline installer...", it's update "IE11 Updates" and "IE11 Spelling localized list".

There is a link for localized Internet explorer 11 installer download page to replace IE8 update, the link for the IE11 cumulative update and a list for localized spelling for IE11.

The other updates (important if you use Ms security software) are for Windows Defender and Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, everything else are updates for "Get Windows X (10)" and telemetry (microsoft's adware and spyware), 971033 and "Security Monthly Quality Rollup" links aren't listed.

I haven't checked if there is a way to hide the updates with a reg entry.

Thanks for information about updates do you think "Security Monthly Quality Rollup" is importand?
