Which Windows 7 Updates are Safe to Integrate?

I just joined to forum for this question, but i'm using NTLite for long time, i was using it just for unattend setup, but today i tried to integrate updates to my Windows 7 x64 MSDN iso, NTLite integrated and created iso file successfully, but i tried to test iso file in a virtual machine and it gave that error;

( im faceing it at windows 7 setup picture is just for example )

so i'm not able to install Win7. I'm using WUD - Windows Updates Downloader to download Win7 update packs ( running win10 machine by the way ) and using NTLite to integrate them... Here is the NTLite log for a clue, thanks in advance.

Will you make lists for Windows 10 & 8.1? Because you doing it very well.
Sorry but no, i will not because that takes a lot of time.

I released the first list for 7 x86 in december, to release the list for 7 x64 took me about a month between tests and now i have presets pending releases for 7 and 10 but i'm not sure if i will integrate updates or not, maybe not, there will be 6 presets for 10 (1607, 1703 and 1709 in x86 and x64).

do you recommend integrate 1709 update to MSDN Win 10 iso or download already up to date iso file from net ?

thanks for reply, by the way integrated updates and only changed unattend settings did the trick win 7 both x86 x64 installed on virtual machine without any trouble thanks for your support again

downloaded updates with wsus and downloaded some of them from catalog.update.microsoft.com and added to NTLite update list but most of them skipped and after finishing integration gived that error?

WSUS downloads updates for all Win 10 builds and are skipped by NTLite if doesn't apply to the loaded build.

But check wich one is skipped and move to another folder instead of deleting, there could be more than 3 updates with the same KB number and could be loaded by NTLite one for a different build.

WSUS downloads updates for server when downloading for 7.

I found KB file names of updates and downloading them manually at catalog.update.microsoft.com one by one, I'll try again with them and I'll post result here

solved again :) i downloaded Media Creation Tool from official Microsoft sources and downloaded up to date .iso file with it. It was already version 1709 including Fall Creators Update and latest features, again thanks for you guidance... @Kasual

@Chandler Muriel Bing, I may be a little late to the party, Kasual seems to have helped.
I was just wondering if there is anything to check and fix? Looking at your initial preset I don't see anything except integrations + features config, which are all Windows-supported operations and should not break setup unless there is a Microsoft bug or update requirement that the tool should have warned about.

Thanks.

YES EXACTLY! I think there is some tricky config causes that, now i just creating unattend file and integrate updates to source and DON'T change anything else, so its working perfectly at Win 7, 8.1, 10 both x86 and x64.

OK, make sure to send me any preset that you see are breaking it, I'm interested in catching that special combo.

Thanks.

Actually I built my Windows .iso files long time ago and deleted all NTLite presets so, I can't send them to you but I can say if you load updates and only change unattend settings that will do the trick and you won't get any errors or blue screen of dead...

You can close the thread by the way...

Question. I sometimes use WH Downloader and when browsing down i see some microcode updates for intel and amd, does WSUS offline download them too or not?

I ask because i am on a pay as you go internet so i have x amount of GB's to use. WSUS doesnt tell you what its downloading and how big the total download is.

If you have restricted network downloading updates will be cost to much GB. Keep in mind, and WSUS tells how big are the updates just check DOS screen while WSUS downloading updates...
