Win 11 23H2 - No User login (VirtualBox)

Hello,

I just wanted to configure the new Win11 23H2 Image. There is a Problem with the user configuration. I added an user with administrative rights. This User has not been added, but Administrator and Guest are active. But it is not possible to login. When I try to log into Administrator or Guest I get this message: "The specified domain does not exist or no connection could be established." This message is there even when I add "WORKGROUP" in the option "Join Network".

Please attach your NTLite preset (after removing any user passwords or license key).

Is this the correct preset? Was there another one with other changes? I only see one local admin user.

yes i this was the template I saved. I just deleaded the user und set the user without the password again, to upload this config without any password.

But I checked other Windows Versions now, too. There is the same Problem. I created a new template. Normaly the configuration of the lokal User creation should not be skipped. But all configs from the normal image are skipped. Thats realy strange. So it loads me after the windows installation directly to the login. There are the users Administrator and Guest. But I can not login because of the error. "The specified domain does not exist or no connection could be established."

Hello, I just solved the problem. Virtualbox is the problem here. Virtualbox creats an own install automatism with its own user. Because of this the ntlite automatism gets corrupted when the setup tries to install everything.

How did you solve it?
Remove or uninstall Virtualbox components

Hi, if a VM is created in Virtualbox, then the check mark must be set to skip the unattended installation. This is active by default. You can only do this while you create a VM.
