Win10 1607 Manage shortcut not working

Hi,
i was slimmingdown windows 10 1607 pro build 14393.1884 with latest version ntlite (Beta 1.5.0.5741).
everything tested working fine except "manage" shortcut on This PC its not working, is there some component should i kept to make this work?

hehehe. you removed the desktop.ini's. run this ....it will fix it

once you run it you don't need the desktop ini's no more

thank you, i will try.
what component on ntlite related to desktop.ini and should i keep?
 
this happen from time to time. If you unhide the desktop there are 2 ini files. If they go corrupt or get deleted you cannot use your manage. I delete mine on purpose....dont like the cluttering on my desktop. Will find out if something else can cause it and let you know. Cheers
 
Did you fix it?

Your reg file does not affect Manage option and when it is disabled, is greyed out.
 
maszd. Just change the .txt to .reg and run it.

If still not working then just create new profile. log out into new profile. on desktop copy desktop.ini (2 of them) to your profile, if wants to overright it click yes. Then logout and back into your profile. That should also fix it.
 
GOTO regedit,

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell\Manage\command]

Right click on it, permissions, advanced when the popup pops up, click on change ontop, advanced, find now, administrators, ok, ok, apply ,ok, back at first popup click on administrators and highlight the little blocks at the bottom, little tick marks....all of them, some wont and it's ok, apply and ok. then add this in the right hand string value

%SystemRoot%\system32\mmc.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\compmgmt.msc /s

This must fix it

maszd. Upload your preset that we can see......very difficult to say out of the face, Nuhi should know, better than me, but even he will ask for the preset. Cool that it worked. Cheers
 
I got it....sorry mate. Will look at it an report to you once I'm done. What I saw was that you removed asimov.......removing it causes a lot of problems. But, I will test and let you know. Cheers
 
@maszd, with "a bit" of delay I tried your preset, and no issues starting that shortcut.
Did you maybe try the latest version with a fresh ISO?
Does the manage starts when executed from Start - Run - compmgmt.msc?
Did you tamper/edit/delete shortcuts in

@Saaglem, desktop.ini has nothing to do with it, and issue in your topic about Asimov removal in Win7 will be investigated.

i think i found problem cause it, before iam integrate startisback on post setup.
try with same preset without startisback integrate, is working fine, manage shortcut started normally :D
maybe bug on startisback 2.5.1, cause try 2.5.2 version its working fine :)
