Windows 10 install (Ninite)

I set up a Windows installation and after I finished I tried to install it and the installation took a lot of time.
What could be the reason?

Did you add some post-setup installers, they need to have silent switches to install without prompting anything.
Attach your preset if unsure, and let us know where is the delay mostly.

Well, try running the same thing in cmd, combine the integrated exe and the parameters used and see if it's silent/automatic or it stops and a asks for something.
Should not ask.

Easier method.....just rename the command file on ISO\sources\$$\setup\scripts\ SetupComplete.cmd, to something else, do install and see if it is Windows install fine....if it does then it is the command process issue, if not then it is a bad NTLite rip.

I think I understood what the problem was,
He finishes the installation of the ninite is stuck or waiting for something on
"wait a moment"
When I restart the computer it continues the installation of the Windows and comes up

Search the .msi version of the file or open a command prompt and type the name like.... name.exe /? and press enter. This will give you the silent install commands....this will prevent issues....just saying!

Where do I put the command?

hmm......

YOUR ISO\sources\$OEM$\$$\Setup\Scripts\SetupComplete.cmd it is a batch file. You right click on SetupComplete.cmd, click edit or open with notepad, don't change the open with to notepad, it should look like this.

@echo off
rd /q /s "%WINDIR%\Setup\Files"
del /q /f "%0"

Then open the first row and the second row like this....

@echo off

rd /q /s "%WINDIR%\Setup\Files"
del /q /f "%0"

------------------------------------------------------------------------
If it is a .exe file then put it in between the lines,

@echo off
name.exe /Silent ------------------------------------------or S or silent or whatever the silent command is
rd /q /s "%WINDIR%\Setup\Files"
del /q /f "%0"

------------------------------------------------------------------------
If it is a .msi file then put it in between the lines,

@echo off
name.msi /quiet ------------------------------------------or Q, or /q or veryquiet, etc....or whatever the silent command is
rd /q /s "%WINDIR%\Setup\Files"
del /q /f "%0"

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't put the string anywhere else!!!

Then copy you name.exe or name.msi file to YOUR ISO\sources\$OEM$\$$\Setup\Files\

Save the file and rerun the install, it should solve your problem.

This is what it should look like....they are commands of the .exe and.msi files.....THEY ARE NOT ALWAYS THE SAME

THESE ARE ONLY TEMPLATES OF WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE

PS: It is ALWAYS a good idea to test these before you do your run since if some command isn't the way it should be it will give an error that you will not see. Don't worry to much about the other commands....you only need the silent install or very silent, quiet, veryguiet, etc. The rest will confuse you.

i try it with the file ninite.exe and he just run the progrem,No menu

You can find the silent install commands here, https://ninite.com/help/features/silent.html

You cannot run the ninite in a dos-box on a pre-installed machine that did not finish it installation of the user profile. Plus, your NIC and internet will only be connected to be used by the user once the profile is created. To do a software install from a non profile machine you need peer networking with proxy setup....which is a whole new ball game. You can install the software and then you'll need a proxy to download the programs.

Why do you think we create all these nice little tools, reg files, batch files, etc? For one, we don't know a lot of stuff either, but we are willing to try and find out.....google knows a lot. We like to automate our windows so we don't have to click, second we like tinkering with it. We create batch files, exe files to do what you want to do.....we study, we learn....but we do it manually....simply because the root to automate through peer network is not easy. Windows have a default profile for a reason, to peer, but in dos with streaming.

So what I am saying is, you need to brush up on your dos, batch and while you are at it grab some power-shell script with it.....you'll need it.

Microsoft have a streaming service that they stream a default install to specification of the customer, what it cost I do not know. When you buy a new computer the default profile, administrator profile, is setup to peer network, then the profile gets locked out by the supplier and they peer the software through that profile.

Bottom line. I'll gave you guidance.....I'm not going to build it for you. I work for a Sheikh here in the Emirates that pays me well for what I build for him and the Company.

But I'm just saying......no offense intended
