Core i3 8300, i have the graphics driver but i need to get the control panel from ms, a uwp app or summat, i want to download and save for later. The i3 is offline and when i try to download from my amd system it tells me there is no hardware attached to my account. Does that mean i have to put a machine online to get a poxy driver? How does the file come, exe, can i save it for later installs or do i have to get online each time i want to install it?

Edit -
Driver with Graphics Control Panel for Dell OptiPlex 3000 Tower, includes license.xml required for integration.

I am doing removals on Win10 Home 1903. Not that I need the Intel Graphics Control Panel but something(s) in NTLite Removals are breaking it.

In my case, Intel GCP installed itself with the Dell iGPU driver. That is, I didn't need to get the GCP from the Windows Store.

Then I did a somewhat aggressive removal operation.

The first image is the first message I got.

I found that being less aggressive and leaving <containers> in fixed that problem.

After thinking I had found the problem, I went aggressive again. Then I got a different error message. (See 2nd image.)

So apparently this is a multi-variable problem.

Interesting, I found that, if you leave the Intel Graphics Control Panel running while NTtLite is processing, that NTLite will hang, presumable at the time that it is trying to remove something that the Intel GCP needs. I suppose if nuhi has a degugger for NTLite, that he could see what removal is breaking GCP.

Also, there is some interesting activity on my desktop during these removals - for example, the This PC window will pop up and then disappear.

I'm hacking my way through my last good Preset with WinMerge, but am wondering if anyone knows what one must leave in for the OEM version of the Intel GPU to work?

Try the dependencies of the Store apps?

Also, what is the last version of IGCP you have? I'm trying to figure a way to avoid UWPs but its been hard as **** to bypass M$ latest round of bullcrap.

I will get you my IGCP version info after the next reboot. (Am restoring now for about the 15th test.)

"Try the dependencies of the Store apps." Specifically, what do you mean?

(I left the Store app in, because I found that I could not download the free HEVC encoder from MS without leaving Store in. Clanger pointed me to a utility called "sledgehammer" that disables Windows updates, but will let you open the door to Store for short periods of time for necessary downloads. So that's gonna be my solution to keeping the Store.)

Driver is 26.20.100.6952. I downloaded it from Dell, for the Vostro 3670.

There's an info that says "CUI Approx version" 3.2.0.0. I don't know if that means "Control User Interface, or not.

Okay, I finally got IGCP to stay working with NTLite. On my box (Intel i3-8100) with the internal iGPU and a separate, external GPU, I have to leave Hyper-V in. That's both the Hyper-V and Hyper-v client (or guest). AFAICT, the <containers> setting is a subpart of Hyper-V.

So, nuhi, if you're reading along, you might want to add "Intel Graphics Control Panel" to the Compatibility List, and lock out Hyper V stuff when checked.

I am fairly sure that it wasn't showing in my Features. I didn't need it. That's why I initially removed it using NTLite.

Ive got an LTSC test install for tweaks on the workstation, ive got hyper-v enabled in Features, its visible services disabled, there may be a few hidden ones, control panel and an older dell v24.xx drivver works. Knowing ms it could vary between builds.

Okay, I checked again. (Win10 drives me crazy because some things are in old Windows 7/8 locations, while other like-things are in new Win10 locations.)

I checked the old Control Panel > Turn Features on/off list. I was looking for "Hyper-V" there, but didn't see it. Then I noticed "Virtual Machine Platform.". But its box is not checked in the list. (So when you say that you have Hyper-V enabled in Features, do you mean Virtual Machine or actual Hyper-V?)

Nevertheless, all the Hyper-V services are listed in Services. (Per Black Viiper's list too.) They're all in Manual. None of them are running, even when I run IGCP.

So I don't understand - it seems like Hyper-V doesn't have to be running, but the components for both the main and guest components have to be there. (If you want to confirm, Clanger, you could do a quick removal in NTLite Live to confirm that that breaks IGCP.)

I do not have Hyper-V Compatibility set in NTLite. I had not 'Lite'd this particular instance of Win10 yet. But this wasn't a fresh version of Win10 either. My logbook shows that I had been in Features earlier with this build, removing IE11. If Hyper-V was checked then, maybe I unchecked it but didn't write it down in my log.

pmikep 10 needs a bit of getting used too but so does any new os. I prefer tomuck around with a new os for a while, see whats where etc.
I dont any settings in win 10 with it, like we did in xp and 7, i do everything with regs and bats now, ask me where stuff is in 10 and i aint got a clue.

The v24.xx non dch driver and control panel "may" have different dependencies to the latest dch muck. Im on 1809 dont forget.
I aint got ntlite activated on that system yet(still) and i wont be abble todo anything tonight or tomorrow, me and the tiny clanger are busy, err, bugger, gotta do a reinstall on that system, and update it, can you wait to wednesady night/early hours uk time? pm me the driver download page, be specific what you want me todo and i will activate the tool, tell me which version you want me to use, havnt got any of the latest ones yet, best to use the same version you have been using.

Actually a preset with the exact components you want me to remove will be helpful :)

No rush. I have to drive out of town to attend a court hearing for a buddy who is being maliciously prosecuted for calling out government corruption in his town. (Anyone reading along, the U.S. isn't as free as you might believe.)

Oh blimey, i do see US stuff on yoopoop and ive seen government spite at work, land of the free my butt :( hope all goes well for your bud :)

I don't think it is Hyper-V, I have both Intel Graphics Experience (Y'know, the new UWP panel thingie) and Hyper-V completely removed in this machine I use (Dell G5 5590). I've recently posted the config used to create this windows version I'm using here, and while I don't claim to be an expert or anything, maybe you can compare it with yours and figure out what is missing.
