Clanger reported the same thing. Probably a disabled service/driver. The drives can still be ejected through diskmgmt.msc (Disk Management) or simply in file explorer -> right click eject. (The former looks like a better method though)

So on former glance it looks mostly just affecting that part of UI. Haven't run into any issues with this.

If it actually didn't work hypothetically speaking, you could always change usb thumb drive to 'Quick removal' instead of performance (I think this is actually default policy?) and you'd never ever have to eject anything :p But im fairly sure that is not required :)

MT_ WaffenFabrik i disable a few things in the taskbar notification anyway but i do keep the usb notifications, i just didnt have the eject option. not a biggy as MT_ said because you can still eject from ThisPC(explorer) anyway. i have run into problems on occasion(default windows no or few tweaks) by not ejecting windows and unplugging the usb key then the data becoming unreadable so iprefer to eject and wait for the ok signal

I get the following error and no graphics are displayed for the vst I'm trying to run:

WGL_ARB_create_context not available

Hrm. Ill look into it.

You 100% sure this is caused by profile?

I'm not aware of anything directly related to OpenGL being disabled, and would definitely not disable it consciously.

Having that said, I cannot guarantee some dependency being disabled which in turn somehow causes this error.

Pro version working? new 2014 iso version. or working ltsb?
if its 1809 pro it should work maybe not flawlessly but even on ltsc 1809 you have to do sort of review in things before and after installation
i think when you applying this to iso ntlite lockout some compatibility things so you should be good to go . when it comes to applying def profiles to def builds of windows 10 ntlite is such a strong tool and (i didnt test it ) after installation you can revert things back from original iso i think

iam currently using older version of this profile and other profile called absolutely minimal ltsb by MT_ back to back on live version lol and its really ok for me not a big problem so far
you can download 1607 minimal here for ltsb :

In fact my problem was exactly the same as yours but I couldn't describe it well

"safely remove usb device" is one of those little things i prefer to keep and why i dont touch device tasks. good thing is there is so much other drek i can afford a little luxury here and there.

And the service default is manual so it only runs when it is needed. No performance impact then :)

I personally avoid disabling services that are in Manual and that don't keep running. Some services even in Manual are running all the time like the WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service (WinHttpAutoProxySvc). I do not know exactly what this service does looks like something related to proxy I have disabled and have not had any negative effect so far.

I keep that enabled, bad things can happen otherwise ;-)

But same as with WMI adapter, looks innocent to disable until you have a pretty general app that goes bonkers because its disabled

If you want to enable bluetooth for this thing (I used the latest v. 1.0.5) do the following changes:

Go to Components-Hardware and enable Devices Flow. NTLite will then ask you to add the related drivers. Probably best to ok that.

Go to Services and enable DevicesFlow and Network Connection Broker. The first enables the bluetooth connection menu and also fixes the "crashing" issues in the new Windows Settings (I'm probbaly one of the few that prefers the new Settings to the old Control Panel). The second service actually allows you to connect to the device.

The BOOT-KERNEL... reg file needs to be edited. I removed the USOUXBROKER and DeviceAssociationService related lines. I'm not really sure what they do but that got rid of the problem.

I tried this with a bluetooth mouse so I'm not sure if it will work with all bluetooth devices.

I also have removed all the networking related things in post-install. There's a lot of them there. Not sure if they are related to bluetooth issues but they can break internet connectivity.

The changes caused no noticeable performance issues for me.
