Is this setting also recommended to perform on low budget laptops ? Since many services are not running? And I think
slowly pc would benefit for getting more performance, isn't it?

I sometimes get this kind of issues on my iso builds,

---------------Device manager------------------------------------------------------------
Capture4.PNG

---------------Disk Management------------------------------
And same thing with Disk Management
Untitled.png

Anyone got a solution for this?

And why is there a desktop.ini file on the desktop theres 2 of them, im just trying to understand, Thanks.
desktop.ini is located in:
%homepath%\Desktop files and folders for all users are located here
%public%\Desktop files and folders for the signed in user are located here

Both folders are shown as if only one exists, both contains desktop.ini for name localization by design and are visible when 'Hide protected system files' or something alike is disabled in > Windows Explorer - Tools - Folder options - Tab View.

I run something like this also on my low power NUC. Saves quite some memory too for small systems vs stock install, if you need that little bit extra!

Anything that doesn't do background crap like default Windows installation saves battery power.

I plan to do the same on my future notebook. But be aware some driver might need to be enabled (battery stuff mostly). And i dont think the power settings are optimal for power saving. So you'd have to probably change some stuff.

When i disable the start up of the reg commands in task manager they still startup when i restart.

Check Task Scheduler ;-)

thanks.. you surely have your reasons but why I have to active it manually?

Because on automatic it seems to go on, even if you dont use wifi. Maybe if system detects a wifi adapter present? I see wifi as optional.

I actually delete them myself. I haven't found any issues but it actually solves weird icons jumping around.

Alright, may i ask what they do? the reg edit commands, is it specific to 1809, or does it work on 1709 aswell.
Also ngen.exe runs the same 2.0.50727 application twice is this normal aswell?

Because I want the install to be as automated as possible, and not all registry apply properly or get reset after installation, I let the stuff apply to itself and reboot windows once or twice. Dirty fix but it works.
Some 'disable full screen optimization', adds a working registry backup (on each successful logon), and ngen is to manually compile NET stuff as we dont want those to run in the background by itself.

Never seen that happen on any of my systems (All different platforms), did you use the proper ISO at all? Or maybe different NTLite version used?

Unneded for english language, other than show the desktop icon in Windows Explorer but for non-english shows the icon and "Desktop" name (not localized).

Desktop.ini is created when you change a folder view. If you install the registry hacks to force a default view for folder types, Windows won't create as many for you.

One strange bug is Windows pre-installs a few in silly places, like they didn't clean up the folders before burning the ISO.

run the tool without removing any components and it still finds drek to clean out. its like they really didnt give a monkeys and "half arsed" was the saying of the day, so business as usual then.

I have installed this on different systems and on both same issues, when starting Windows it is extremely lagy and after awhile Windows works but sometimes Windows explorer is stoping working. This tweaking made Windows instable. :( any idea how to fix?
