MT_ Got your pack, going through the reg files see what i can cherry pick. :)
Change CurrentControlSet to ControlSet001 so people can add them to a mounted registry, not sure how nuhi handles CurrentControlSet on a mounted registry.

IM rusty soif you put a CurrentControlSet into the tool it will apply on a mounted registry? I hardly use that feature.
All my tweaks go into ControlSet001.

All your tweaks are ok and I have seen ControlSet001 and ControlSet002 mounted only.

HKCR or "HKEY Classes Root" is "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes" and "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes" links. The same as you can see your desktop but some files (shortcuts) are in current user folder and others in Public folder.

HKCR isn't mounted, the same as CurrentControlSet.

Ok thanks bud :)
99% of my tweaking is post 1st logon with bat/cmd's, i only do reg files because i know some people prefer them, yes ultraform, im talking about you :p

Hi! thanks for this preset! I just have one problem with the Razer Kraken Tournament edition that has an USB audio controller, all drivers are OK, maybe a Windows component or service (I tested enabling those services that can be enabled)... About the audio, I hear the games perfect, the problem is with the microphone, any ideas? thanks!

Mhh. Either a driver, or maybe 'Capability Access Manager Service'. And 'Microphone' under privacy?

Not sure. I rather not touch Razer equipment but that is personal experience ;-)

The fact that you require to login to their cloud first before being able to adjust mouse settings is just astonishing. Not sure if this is still the case today though.

Yeah rediculous stuff is happening these days!
Avoid DCH at all cost! :p

For Nvidia driver i still pick regular, and use NVTrimmer tool before install driver. So much junk in it these days. You only require 4 out of 15 components to have a fully working Nvidia driver in example. So much bloat everywhere, is why we need NTLite. Why is everything not optional or opt-in instead of forced into our guts? The world is completely turned around.

Btw, another profile update may be incoming soon. Still tweaking and checking if nothing breaks, I had problem activating Windows with some tweak :p Its mostly some configuration changes.

- Xbox Controller driver added, screwed myself up with that one. It is also a gaming profile after all. Never required it until recent.
- Removing two bcdedit entries, it seems better to just keep it at default (ticks/platform)\
- Disabling lots of Event Logging stuff
- Removed components pretty much the same.
- Retweaking some services.

Good thing a reinstall + all configuration/installation of stuff only takes me a few hours at most. Kinda gets second nature after 50+ reinstalls :p
To see if anything breaks is way more time consuming. But if i do see it, I report it to Nuhi ofcourse (but only if it smells like an unintended bug)

Yeah i can do a lot of stuff with my eyes closed now :D. I know my tweaking breaks stuff but i share it anyway.
Will keep my eyes open on your updates, i have a lot of sources for tweaks. :)

You had a lot of nice reg tweaks I found useful, saves some time post installation as well! I added credits ;)

Will upload new profile somewhere today.

I aint worried about credits(even though they are nice), glad you found some useful stuff :).
Today? thats quick. I need to get my current tweaks(pack) sorted before i go a hunting for more :(

Its an ever lasting min-maxing kind of thing. If i ever run into a new tweak, i just accumulate the data in a notepad file and when i feel like it, I update it again in case I ever have the urge to reinstall Windows hehe.

We'll see what happens with LTSC 2021? I hope the tweaking/removal required will be subtle, but sadly with microsoft its not just a matter of adding new junk, they also keep changing other stuff under the hood which don't seem that apparent. Its really disgusting. They should deliver a bare bones build without all the junk and make it optional.

I forget/loose stuff when i have breaks and i find updating and uploading a pack even for 1 tweak helpful because i know i have stuff here and people like ultraform and kasual(and others) will always upload something i cant find. 2022 should be the next ltsb/c, i will get it soon after release then spend at least 1 year playing around with it and at least in its first year the ubergeeks will have it sorted and all its quirks found.

MT_ blimey theres a lot of my files in there, 40 out of 80 . The thing is that pack was quickly assembled so i could share what i had at the time, it wasnt thoroughly checked for duplicate entries so there may be some in there, and if i didnt pick up again users could have what i had at the time :)

Glad you have kept the file names the same, will make sifting through your pack easy.
I like to create seperate files for hklm/hkcr and hkcu stuff, some hklm/cr stuff needs to be elevated(with Power Run) where the hkcu doesnt, apply hkcu with power run doesnt add them to the current user but the account TI runs with.

Check the following,
LTSC-THUMBNAIL-CACHE-KEEP.reg and DisableThumbnailCache.reg, keeping the cache stops windows rewriting the cache cutting down disc writes( ive increased icon cache size for the same reason),
2 automatic maintenance files
2 disable drivers - windows update
3 startup time files
2 Game files
2 aeroshake
thats all for now :)

Ah yeah, I 'm pretty sure some of my files are dupes of yours, or dupes of something else, but I guess it doesn't hurt anything.

I'll do a pass on them sometime to find the dupes and clear everything up. Was thinking of renaming my reg's to the same names as you do it just for clarity sake.

New build is successful btw!

Ok, need some way to see whose is whose, I use all uppercase in filenames cos my sight aint so good so do yours lower and uppercase? easier to find the culprit and if you name the same they will list alphabetically then. Waddya think?

Got ya on my follow list so you can pm me :)
Some stuff has to be bat/cmd files post install so i only do a few during setup the rest post and elevated.

Ive got a lot of stuff in the pipeline and planning stages its just taking a long time :(.
Check post no 4 on my download page, its a temporary ltsc tweaks location until i add them to a pack.
Good news on your build :)
Change the "updated on" date on the thread title.

Done :)

I only found a single quirk so far, I can no longer open the 'Change advanced sharing settings'. but it cannot be from a component removal. I wonder maybe a reg file or one of the new NTLite function to disable Event Logger channel stuff. Or maybe its just a service i accidentally disabled.
