Sorry not been around much as I'm pretty much done optimizing my builds, if you guys need my updated gaming optimized XML's, they are all tested here and work (Even use them in multiboot setup)

These are pretty much my 'final' builds on any of these windows versions, although I tend to stick with Windows 10 now as it does give major benefits in the whole WDDM video driver stack, and everything is in general way better.

1. You'll have to redo the Administrator account with password as i took that info out of the XML, change PC name to whatever you want.
2. Check inside XML Which NTlite was used in case of incompatibilities, also check hardware support which can/might differ with your build hardware.
3. I included a pack of reg files which were used with most of these builds. Manually add them if you require/want them.
Be sure that you need them, and read up on what they do if you don't know.
4. Not giving any support for these builds, and if they dont work out of the box its most likely a driver missing or some weird difference in hardware.
5. LTSC: If you dont want any part of GameDVR/Full Screen Optimization/Game Mode, take out Xbox components.
6. Some of this (including reg files) include personal preference parts, so not guaranteed optimal for your needs.

All these work great and are all pretty much minimal.

Thanks for the templates mate. I used your 1809 LTSC NTLite (Absolutely Minimal) template but can you explain why you kept what's below?

Network
1- Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)
2- File Sharing Support (with all of its components)
3- Internet connection sharing (considering I don't use hyper-v or any virtual machines)
4- Internet Protocol Helper (IPHelper)
5- Wired Autoconfig (Under NDIS User Mode IO driver)
6- Netlogon
7- Radio Management and Airplane Mode Service
8- Web Services on Devices API (WSDAPI)
9- Windows Firewall (NOT Firewall Service) - Is it ok to remove if you use a 3rd party firewall which depends on windows filtering platform?

Remoting and Privacy
10- Device Management Enrollment Service (with subcomponent Device Management)
11- File Server Resource Manager
12- IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules (with subcomponent IPsec policy agent)
13- NDIS Packet Capturing (NDISCAP)
14- Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)

I'm wondering about what would go wrong if I remove them...

Well, some for personal reasons, simply because I need them. others to keep stuff from breaking :p

Im sure some of it can be disabled for you.

Like SNMP i enabled for my router. Not necessary for most people. SMB because I have numerous different VM's with different OS and clients on my network including a Macbook.

Iphelper i kept in because it can be disabled anyway.

I dont think I kept web services but I could be wrong?

No clue about firewall, i keep with the built-in one and use WFN (Windows Firewall Notifier) as extension for outbound blocking by default. Keeps it simple yet gives me all functionality i need :)

Why I keep stuff like 'MobilePC' or Tablet Input etc is for simple reasons: It can break stuff if removed. So if you want to keep yourself from potential torture...

In my collection I have this image file of LTSC ver. 10.0.17763.1:

Windows 10 Enterprise 2018 LTSC Version 1809 (Sep 2018) (x64) - DVD (English)
File: en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_74865958.iso
MD5: 417fbcae0e243c10b1e00d5699796ccf
SHA-1: 0b8476eff31f957590ade6fe671f16161037d3f6

I extracted .wim file from this iso by using UltraISOPortable and add to NTLite.
After load operation was completed I have in Source list double version of LTSC: EnterpriseS and EnterpriseSN with different size (MB).

It's O.K.?
At this step I don't undestend, can I make job only with EnterpriseS?

UPD.
No more question! At the ending of process I see:

It's very nice - the program is best!

MT_ , thanks for sharing your profiles!!!
  • At first time, I make wim/iso for LTSC by using “1809 LTSC NTLite (Absolutely Minimal)” presets and install it for my old one notebook. I only activated sfc component (was unchecked). Yes, I understand its preset must be used “AS_IS”, but...
  • After installation the sfc /VERIFYONLY and dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth were done without any error – is great.
  • The used disk space after installation was only 7.4 Gb.
  • The Task Manager show: 1-2% cpu / 18% memory.
  • In additionally, Event Viewer was without error and only few non-critical warning was displayed.
  • In the Windows Features I found that some items have “Activation” mark in the end of features. In my opinion and practice (from LTSB) it’s indicated - non unchecked two components during creating repack. The components name: Windows Communication Foundation (WCF3 and WCF4) from System parts. And again, after I deleted these components – sfc and scanhealth done without error.

After all above, I try making some mode of original “Absolutely Minimal” preset by adjusting for my computer and programs. I was activated/added some drivers for my hardware and uncheck non used drivers from MT_ installation. Also I added printers and unchecked Xbox. I also was reconfigured unattended.xml, the Registry folder and some item especially for me. And finally I have positive results.
MT_ many thanks for great job.

Hey, Thanks for the configuration files, I tried this config in LTSC 1809, However, If I open Settings->Devices , It will instantly close. It seems like there is a missing component required to display the devices window correctly. Any ideas?

great builds , i used "1809 LTSC NTLite (Absolutely Minimal)" and just adding vpn compatibility from compatibility tabs breaks it, runs great without any changes though

NTLite: NTLite Beta 1.8.0.6650
ISO: SW_DVD5_WIN_ENT_LTSC_2019_64-bit_English_MLF_X21-96425
Comment: I apply profile against above ISO, and integrated latest Security Cumulative of Windows and NET3/4 before i did.
........
I hope this profile might be of any use to someone.

How would one go about installing this .xml?
I understand that install.wim is needed, but I'm fairly new to this side of tweaking windows and would appreciate some guidance. Thank you!
