I know - think it's called Widgets now. But what seems to be a nice feature in the already installed system is a addon to marketer their new features witch most people swollow as granted - and put and extra 100 mb to their desktop system.
Missing the good old days where programmers could code in Assembly language and leave minimum of footprint.

Everyone knows they need to load a custom framework, which requires 3-4 other frameworks, to print "Hello World".
Think of all the time you saved writing it

Well - templates make the world work the way it does now.
Maybe that’s why most people have pawned their brains for a mobile where telemetry and tracking are not on the agenda under concerns.
But in the end, it's all about us having to depend on either the MS Store or the Apple Store and buying a feature every time we have to use it to pay the owners, not the programmers.
Maybe that's why they want to force a MS account down on the average user - just a thought ;)

Yeah. I now give up, lol. Just not worth the bother, nor time to piss-ass about with deleting this, removing that, etc. You win MS! Too old to be bothered with it all now, the fight is over, for me :)

I'll use your POS OS, yup, but only because I'm tired of fighting you now, and know that you will stop at nothing to change that ;)

W11 will stop supporting WEP on WiFi networks, must be WPA2 or later. Prolly for the best, but it should have been mandated at RTM -- not after users have installed it.

Light editing is the way to go... or else everything is broken

Bloat isnt a major concern anymore, just run my basic removals, if i can get an os at 6gb installed give or take a few each way im happy.
Resource use is my major worry. I want 1 image only, so thats basic removals then do all my stuff live so that single image can be either default or highly tweaked depending on my needs at the time :). I find tweaks much more exciting :D.

that's exactly how they want you to think. Congrats you and anyone else taking this step, you've been now converted into new sheeple.

Jokes aside, I'll sooner migrate into linux permanently than make myself a microsoft or facebook account. I'd like to say it'd be an improvement, but as I also game on my spare time... eh, I'll live, or get new hobbies.
