Look at my 8.1 barebone scheduled tasks file, there should be entries there that are the same. Note - i disable a task, delete from registry and delete the task folder. Keep the timeouts, they apply correctly. Run from Power Run. File works fine for me, i think pmikep uses it on 8.1, he has an internet system and as is it should be okay for everyone.
Tip, open Power Run, add file toits ui, system32 - services.msc, tasksch.msc, gpedit.msc. It already has options for regedit and a cmd window.
tasks live in a few places in the registry, when i delete them, use the timeouts, it gives the os time tocatch up before a restart and they never reappear.
