Are "optional features" bundled in windows updates? Do I need to keep manually removing optional features? Or is there a way to allow updates but prevent installing optional features like "hello face"?

Will see about adding disabling or removal of Hello, here are some settings how to disable it.

Well, I meant more in a general sense... Is there a way for NTLite to prevent optional features from being installed?

I've noticed a lot of other nasty things installed as "optional features", like the Quick Assist remote viewing app.

Will do, adding Features on Demand to the Features page, hopefully by the next Tuesday.

OK, I think it's partly working, and partly broken.

Right after install, all the optional features are listed as "uninstall succeeded [installation date]". So, at first, the optional features are gone.

However, some optional features (in this case English typing and English OCR) are still updated afterwards.

Is this expected behavior?

Still, this is a huge improvement, thank you!

Is it possible to remove the Quick Assist app? Anyway, it would be better if the Optional Features' list was empty after removing those things.
