I just finished making my windows ISO and installing, only to find out that the recovery drive I made with it afterwards won't work when I test it. When I boot up from the recovery drive and select Troubleshoot => Recover from a Drive => Just remove my files => Recover, it will go up to 60% and then throws this error:
Afterwards, I discovered that it apparently made a lot of changes, and Windows won't even show up in my BIOS anymore. However, when I reinstall, the 4 default windows partitions from my previous install still show up in the windows installer and I have to manually delete them.
I then tried installing "vanilla" windows and the recovery drive I made with it worked. This means that I know my NTLite settings are the culprit.
Since Windows is giving me literally zero information, I have no idea what to do. This is a brand-new installation after using NTLite on the install iso. Attached is the settings file I used, and I did nothing else after installation aside from making the recovery drive. The source image used was Windows 10 1803 Professional.
Could someone please tell me what component or service I need to re-enable to get recovery working? This is the last thing I need before I'm finished with this install.
Thank you!
