Will removing Defender components conflict with anti-cheat systems in games like Valorant, CS2, PUBG, Apex Legends, or Fortnite?

For games that use anti-cheat systems, is it better not to remove Windows Defender components using NTLite? Honestly, I’m not sure whether removing those components would affect the anti-cheat system or not.

Most anti-cheat drivers require the Virtualization Based Security features, in order to run. But if you're worried about compatibility, I would leave Defender installed and use one of the guides to disable all the services.

The problem is if you're wrong about Defender (because some game's anti-cheat cares), then it's more work for you to re-install. Anti-cheats don't need Defender, but they might assume Defender will filter out suspect apps from running.

I never noticed an issue removing Defender or VBS regarding game protections, or got a report as such.
But, if it ever happens, we'll separate those components into a clear Compatibility option.
