Offline activation for my software did not work this time

I installed NT Lite and when I copied and pasted the serial number into the program I got a message saying it did not work. I had to use one of my online activations in order to proceed which I did not want to do.

What is the reason for this?
 
Okay I did put in a new i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM. Is there a way to reset back to zero so I don't have to always activate online?

Once activated online, it's an offline license, survives OS reinstalls.
Regarding the reset, when you hit the wall, send me an email and I'll reset it, doesn't need to be zero now.

That kind of defeats the purpose of gathering HW lists inside an always changing environment, if i can`t even use this feature within a portable installed environment. :(

For portable activation there is the Business license, more info at ntlite.com/shop and license.txt in the tool's directory.
