I do not trust any machine that has been connected to the internet. My next planned build will be 2 machines, an offline windows pc and a debian machine for online work and the only way data will be transferred between the 2 will be optical media, not even a usb key shared between them.

Any update can reset any tweaks you make. Apply the latest updates, restart pc, apply tweaks and restart again, a pita maybe but thats what you have to do.

Gamers will need to keep up but for us non gamers who want stability 21H2 is a mature version(not my preferred 3 years old at least but not far off it) and i can install it on all my hardware and if i buy new current or last gen hardware it will install without a problem.

Im using this iso and updating(new updates today)/syprepping/capturing as required. So far its smooth stable and without those spikes and even a semi current 1809 is buggy Still.

Dont know, but if the image is loaded from an iso directly i would like the new volume label to be same as the source iso, if possible of course.

All i can see AI doing is hunting through your txt reg bat/cmd and xml files for specific text, imagine your passwords and bank details being sent to ms/its partners.

I regularly use xp era programs(that havnt been updated in years) because they are stable and bug free for what i do, stability matters. Stuff subscription programs, they can stick them where the sun dont shine.

Disable its service and see what happens.

What has added to the wait is nuhi doing some redesign work + new additions otherwise it would have been a straightforward bug fix + catchup release.

Im still using xp era programs that havnt been updated in the past 10 years because they are bug free for what i do with them. Updatitus is a nasty addiction.
