OK for me the latency spikes go away if I set the NVCP global setting to Prefer Maximum Performance and then reboot. I can check this is working because A) I can hear the fans and B) hwinfo64 reports over 60w power usage and the card is locked at 2520Mhz. In Normal mode, the power usage drops...- daninthemix
