I've tested in both a VM using the ISO and real machine using USB. For the real machine testing I've also tried this guide, https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/186875-uefi-unified-extensible-firmware-interface-install-windows-7-a.html but also no luck. It's the same with the original iso...

It didn't fix it. I forgot to mention that it only happens when I attempt to boot in UEFI mode, but the image should be EFI compatible.

I just did one with the same settings as before, except no changes to components, features and registry this time - same result :/

I just did a quick one with the same settings (except not applied to boot.wim) and also the answer file is not placed in either boot image or the Panther directory. Also it didn't feature any updates at all. Still the same result; black screen after the initial loading screen.
