I can boot and install without problems from a windows, which has been created via media creation tool on a stick.
Meanwhile I suppose the cause for the error is the existence of several partitions with data, on the same ssd (which is the boot medium from #1).
I have to check that...
I created a customized Win10 Pro with NTLite and copied it onto a boot medium.
Mainly I integrated the updates and excluded "Office Hub".
The installation starts, the EULA is clicked, than I get an error message:
The computer could not prepared for the next installation phase. Start the...
Hello.
First I downloaded the windows iso file "1903" from Microsoft to an external fast SSD with 2 partitions.
I mounted that image in the windows explorer and copied all the files into a new empty directory "custom-win".
Now I started NTLite (latest version) and added that directory as...
Thanks for your answer and your hint to post the preset. I will do that in the future.
When one only changes options in the category "unattended" (and nothing else), will the processing of ntlite be very fast, because it's only a text file (xml)?
I will look, if I can find an xml code for...
I created my first customized installation, copied it onto an usb stick. Everything worked fine. The setups runs. Windows starts.
I was asked nothing during the installation.
Than I get a start screen with a login.
But I didn't enter a username or password.
Did I choosed any option (without...
Is it possible to use an usb stick, which has been created by Media Creation Tool as a source for NTLite and as well as a target for the processed result of NTLite?
I'm new to NTLite and I'm not sure what's the best way to get the processed result of NTLite to a bootable stick.
I get the...
Hhhmm. I'm not sure if I understood every detail of your post, sorry.
Can you recommend a source for a working file of Google Chrome for a post setup installation?
Thanks for the hints. I'm not experienced in those administrative tasks and I'm not interested in spending time for handcrafted installers.
If I cannot find an msi-installer, than I will give up the wish to get the app installed in the post setup.
May there's a web page with a list of downoad...
Good to know. It seems that there are only "enterprise" editions of msi installers, right?
https://cloud.google.com/chrome-enterprise/browser/download/
But I may oversee a source for a standard edition as msi?
At the example Chrome: Do I have to download the file "chrome.msi" and add it via the ntlite command "add > file"?
Or can I enter a URL for the download of the *.msi?
There is an undescribed entry "Remove > Components > Windows Apps > Apps > Officehub".
Does it mean, that all Office 365 stuff is removed?
I ask, because it is necessary to remove Office 365 stuff before it is possible to install Office 2016.
Thanks
I tried to find that option to download all windows 10 updates in the NTLite interface, but without success.
I looked in the category "integration", sub category "updates".
Please, can you give me a hint?
Thanks.
But isn't it useful, when there is an access to the network during the installation process, because the installer can fetch drivers or whatever directly during the installation?
Hi.
I'm new to NTLite.
Is there an easy to understand tuturial, which explains how to integrate an unattended installation of Office 2016 (not Office 365) - ideally with all updates - into the installation of Windows 10 Home?
The activation should be done manually after the installation.
Thanks.
