Add Option to disable Widgets in Configure > Settings

With this registry setting, you can disable the Widgets icon on the taskbar and the rest of it's functionality on Windows 10/11.

Yes, I did that already but I think it reinstalls itself soon after Windows is all finished setting up.

slashpowered yeah it will reinstall after windows finished setting up but aside with registry editor for disabling widgets there's a setting on ntlite I think its desktop or explorer section which gives you an option to disable widgets so that whether you remove or not the windows web experience pack widgets still disabled

In context to Garlins answer:
In Settings/ Desktop/ Taskbar - Widgets - set to Disabled and it will work fine.
Never seen any trace of Widgets in taskbar nor in settingsmenu in Windows/ Taskbar.
