absolutely, i upgraded only the VGA and sitting on my Z390 maximum formula XI with a 9 gen Intel, no bottleneck, all good.
of course can be better with the new bandwidth of PCIe 5, but is in a good spot for some years maybe

Hahahaha the truth is that games are not demanding better hardware unless yours is very old (I personally need to upgrade my CPU), any upgrade you do will be to play older games with better performance and more beautiful because current games are becoming simpler and less demanding, and there are no more good games lately, so in practice you end up playing the same older games over and over again loli fall into video card hype
Ray tracing for me is something that still needs to evolve a lot to be considered in an upgrade because the cost in performance is absurd. On the other hand, DLSS is something that is very worthwhile and makes a big difference in RTX's, especially at higher resolutions.
Anyway I was referring to those who have the RTX 3000 series and upgrade to the RTX 4000 just because of the hype, but in practice they don't need it and they still support nvidia in bringing the new cards to their specifications, charging more for it.
Some programs depend on it even if you are not going to use this feature, for example Format Factory from version 5.7.1 crashes on opening if you remove Speech.

For example, in a previus preset i cutted out Recovery Agent + BitLocker Drive Encryption and relative dependancies (GuardedHost,EDP/WIP,Windows to GO)
Then i realized that Recovery Agent is responsible for launch "Safe Mode" and BitLocker Drive Encryption is required for encrypted drives (and vm drives encrypted), and now i checked only Recovery Agent + BitLocker, without GuardedHost,EDP/WIP and Windows to GO.
Because is what i can need.
This choices, detailed and chained in a visual way, make NTLite super!

I have finally been able to try this out and there wasn't much that I really could take away from it since it goes too far with my build. I got what I needed from mostly cherry picking from gameros. If I remove anything else then I start to break the things I need.
If someone else gets something out of it then that's good.
By logic yes but unfortunately in practice with this program this does not happen. To be more precise the required component is 'Speech TTS' which has 'Speech Recognition' and 'Speech API' as dependencies. So it is necessary to keep these 3 components for the program to work in newer versions.
What I do is use Format Factory version 5.6.5.0 when I need it for some testing.
Personally I don't use it but it is a very popular software so I commented.
This is very bloated, it has a lot of features I don't use, it has adware and in the program directory a folder with thousands of python files lol
I like to use XMedia Recode to convert videos
not like HandBrake it allows me to change the container video from mkv to mp4 for example without having to re-encode the video.pierolampedusa

Buona sera, a proposito del mio problema, ossia se faccio la iso senza il tuo preset, aVRage10-11 funziona l'installazione sia la 32 che la 64 bit di windows 10 pro, se invece metto il tuo preset e parto con la creazione della ISO da windows pro 64 bit, poi è la versione a 32 bit che non va l'installazione presentando l'errore già citato, se invece parto dal Windows pro 32 bit il problema si inverte , ossia la la versione a 64 bit che si blocca durante l'installazione messaggio "Impossibile leggere l'impostazione <Product Key> dal file di risposte per l'installazione automatica" vedi se riesci s capire cosa crea questo inconveniente. Buongiorno e grazie, ho provato e in questo modo il preset funziona su 32 bit se parto dalla 32 bit e il preset non funziona sul 64 bit e viceversa, se parto dalla 64 bit il preset funziona solo sulla 64 bit e non sulla 32 bit. si può risolvere??

Have you tried it with just the GamerOs preset and not the aVRage preset ? if not, please try and report back if there is the same issue , and please remember to use a clean iso

ProductKey errors can be an incorrectly assigned license key, or using an unattended file made for a different platform (32-bit vs 64-bit).
NTLite can write both versions in the same unattended file, using the Dual architecture setting.
When you get a ProductKey error, Setup has not started in copying files from your image. So it's unrelated to the image contents.

Recommending a preset is difficult without knowing the specifics of the purpose. IF it is for gaming, i would highly recommend the Txmmy one (the GamerOS) , and adjust to personal preferance.

imagine how low your latency would be, with an Amd cardTo be clear, is not supposed to be a better Preset compared to others Preset, it just fit better FOR ME and my expectation.
To Hellbovine of course your guide is outstanding for starting a custom preset, or i don't link and tag you as first step to do.
The first time i tried, was like you said, your base custom image + GamerOS but was just unsatisfied FOR ME.
I started again from your base and scroll down every single component and settings and made my decisions, failed for a month here and there, until the OS is functional without critical error, missed things and bugs.
-The guide say is tested with Windows 11 22H2 Pro, and is compatible with Windows 10 (but not tested from me)
-The "random" spoilers you talk about is my idea of making my custom image more "protected" and optimized at the same time
Of course is not components introduced to the Preset, its what i use to protect my PC (without Defender & Firewall from MS)
-The spoiler show the function of "Norton 360 for Gamers"
-A private DNS its a filter for DNS communication, and i use NextDNS as a private DNS
These are just tips i propose, because with this preset, without add any protection is just unprotected at all
-Reg Files is 90% the same as you release, i have just deleted things i don't like from Settings, for example, the sense function where you set to delete download folders and recicle bin after 1 day, or changed to do animated minimize/maximize windows and others little settings i don't like.
I choose to use your reg settings because maybe is more specific and detailed(ready to be used in windows), compared to settings in NTLite.
Thats why i used both, maybe someone overlapping, but as it is
-Host refresh is not supposed to be used, its an image functional for a year or more, without any update.
-Dunno why other screen is gone to the attachments
-NTLite works well with URI links, as explained links still visible if we don't remove everything from the component. The HideURIlinks.cmd its just a polished pass to avoid confusion when navigating Settings
-PropertyStore still here to create the path, thats where Sound save profiles for any app and remember the volume level of apps (this is not the same for UWP apps, UWP apps require Legacy as you know)
Internet Explorer is deleted from this Preset, so the path probably missing if not added manually.
-Photoviewbackground.reg is just the background "Black" when you open an image file with photo viewer
-two post because there is a limit of 10 uploaded file for every post
As said, i got a good result in my opinion. The system is smooth and clean, protected with 3th parts solutions, and performing well in gaming.
Thats it, the options/settings/component is the same for everyone, none can pretend to be so different from another OS created for gaming.
To be clear, i don't care if my preset going soon in the archive.
Someone just ask me to share it, and i first ask if i can share it public and then posted.
Critcs is welcome, if someone found bugs is welcome.
