Post your Computer Parts

When I was apart of the windows 11 forums they had an area on the forum where you can post your computer parts. Can we get that addition to this forum?

I dunno, taking up more vertical space to fit the extra info makes every post longer (even one-line replies). Why not use a signature?

I know we aren't them just when answering questions that pertain to Ntlite knowing there system could help solve a lot of unneeded questions. Signature would work

we already got topics for installing 7 and 8.1 on newer hardware so we can and have already shoehorned in what hardware for what os questions, "need new hdd, any recommendations", "i use this and its been very reliable" etc etc.

I'm with Clanger and Garlin on this. besides wouldn't it be easier to put it in your profile instead ?

If you think about it, it would make sense doing that, because a) if it's in your profile, it means less forum space being taken, b) if a user has a specific issue or question about a certain component, they can contact the user directly, see if any issue can be resolved without using up forum space, and if not then put it in forum and c) if any component is upgraded, all the user has to do is modify their own profile part.

If that makes sense to anyone..... but just my 2p thrown into the convo

ive said to trusted users a number of times to ask the question in the forum then that information/advice can be shared with everyone then. of course not everything can be shared openly

I was just looking for something easy to see without too many clicks and won't take up much room at all. I guess i am spoiled since my screen font is very small and that's the way I like it.

Small not in a physical sense, wife is happy
