Windows 10 LTSC 2021

PhsMu is prolly the same person you found on MDL. Look on his NTLite discussion.
Yes I am.

This post works, but most of the credit goes to Abbodi, I just modified his script to work with NTLite's temp folder.

Just make sure you change usernames and folders according to your personal machine layout.

i have moved these from their original location.

Windows 10 LTSC 17763.2114 - 20210911 - testing inside a vm.
Net 3.5 enabled, Net 4.8 and 5.0.9 installed. OS still has full networking and Printer/Scanner functionality.
Windows 10 LTSC 17763.2114 - 20210911a - Bareboned Services. No networking or Printer/Scanner functionality, airgapped.

This is LTSC 2021. LTSC 2021 looks about the same as 2019(1809) and should be capable of the same results, give or take a few each way taking new additions into account.

Please share LTSC-2021-TWEAKED-V1 preset.
Thanks in advance.

With KB5034763 (OS Builds 19044.4046 and 19045.4046) apart from Reserved Storage disable tweak what other tweaks must go into an image in order for them to take effect before deployment?

Maybe disable all Microsoft Edge related services?
Also Included this for prevent it his return (if delete it) in future updates:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate]
"DoNotUpdateToEdgeWithChromium"=dword:00000001

This outdated policy has no effect on blocking Edge, when it's installed as part of the Monthly Update. It's deprecated now, unless your W10 system hasn't been updated in the past 3-4 years.

Thank you, so we can not have a updated system without Edge? It can be disabled all his services, or other effective way?

You can remove Edge Updater so the self-updater doesn't work. But if you want to apply Monthly Updates, it's buried inside each update. The only solution is to run licensed NTLite in Remove Reinstalls mode after every time the CU is applied.

MS really wants to force Edge out to every system, and that's the mechanism they've chosen. Either you don't update, or re-remove Edge (and any other component re-installs) after applying updates.

Im using this iso and updating(new updates today)/syprepping/capturing as required. So far its smooth stable and without those spikes and even a semi current 1809 is buggy Still.

I wouldn't even bother with 21H2 anymore honestly,
Gamers will need to keep up but for us non gamers who want stability 21H2 is a mature version(not my preferred 3 years old at least but not far off it) and i can install it on all my hardware and if i buy new current or last gen hardware it will install without a problem.

Strongly agree
Many minor bugs in LTSC2019 were resolved in LTSC2021.
Using the same preset, there is an issue with the USB pop-up in LTSC2019, which is perfect in LTSC2021

Windows 11 Ent/IOT LTSC has been announced last week.
Thanks, ~Brian
The ltsc hasn't been released yet, and the lot is released every year
Unless it's a server, it's not recommended to use lot, you should wait for ltsc24h2 in the second half of the year

What's the issue with the Enterprise IoT license versus standard Enterprise? Last I checked for Windows 10, the IoT license just has an extra 5 years of support. I have even seen suggestions to install LTSC 2021 and then convert the license over to IoT.

On a related note, 21H2 is still great for gaming unless a game specifically requires a higher OS build, which is very rare. It has been an incredibly stable experience thus far and quite performant.

Bsekelecki_ge may refer to the lot version, not the license. I have used it before, and it starts up faster than the enterprise version, but it has many server management components that ordinary players cannot use. It is more suitable for use with small servers.
The LTSC version is a simplified version without adding any additional components. The lot version is completely different from the enterprise version

how much faster? seconds minutes or hours? if its seconds most people wont notice a minor difference.

it has many server management components that ordinary players cannot use
Control Panel - Programs and Features - Turn windows features on or off,
how many are Off/Disabled? if they are On/Enabled can they be turned off/disabled? can they be removed?

see "Control Panel - Programs and Features - Turn windows features on or off" reply above.

LTSC 1809(17763.1) has a lot of "Control Panel - Programs and Features - Turn windows features on or off" turned off/disabled.
If they are already off then 99.999% they can be removed without impacting a user.

most home users(with dell hp etc machines) dont have a choice over which edition or build series they can use so they use whatever their machine came from the factory with.

for "Home User Plus" users like myself(home users who know a trick of 2 ;) ) up to full bore ubergeeks the differences between editions is going to be so minimal once we have worked our magic that it becomes a complete non argument.

the only argument will be is do you prefer constant feature additions and a short "till End of Life" or a stable os that doesnt get those "feature(glitz and schmitz) updates" and has a long "till end of life"?

Home User Plus types - If you have the otion to choose then pick your OS and Edition and stick with it.

In my impression, it is equivalent to the speed difference between Linux mint xfce and Ubuntu

It's too far away from the times, I just had a simple experience with many meaningless components in the starting menu
I am using IoT Enterprise, not Core
It's more like a collection of Raspberry Pi and Enterprise Edition

The idea is too simple. Firstly, you need to have an image, mine is just a leaked version, and secondly, you also need a streamlined tool.
NTlite does not support modifying IoT, even if you succeed, it cannot be activated.

The Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 edition (version 21H2) does not have extended support. It will reach end of servicing on 2027-01-12.
Only Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 (version 21H2) will have support until 2032-01-13.
Source.

Enterprise LTSC 2021 edition (version 21H2) will be usable to at least 2029/2030,
IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 (version 21H2) will be usable to at least 2034/2035.
