Hi, I download a custom Windows 7 version from a local develorpers group and the version is amazing, very fast, low ram usage and everything works.

I install that version over 30 machines in many companies and now I have a issue, users are complaining about missing icons in some programs, games and applications.

I try to contact the creator of that custom version and he said don`t have time to check it.

I want a way to restore those missing icons without reinstall Windows or use another version, I think is a missing dll and will be easy correct but what files I need check copy to windows instalation?

That is a pirated version, warez, not an NTLite related stuff.
About the screenshot, seems to be Kelsenellenelvian's WPIW do a google search to find out where you can get help about WPIW.

Windows 7 version I used is created using NTLITE. And in WPIW the same problem occours in other programs not only in WPIW, I just use it to take a screenshoot, WPIW use windows icon library to show that icons. I already use WPIW in many other windows versions and works fine with all icons, only that particular version has the error.

And I don't say that is a problem of NTLITE, probably the guy that create that windows version remove to many components from windows installation that cause bugs. I want to know if someone knows a easy way to resolve it without install another windows version.

Talking about and distributing edited ISOs is not allowed in general.
Also who would want to use a custom downloaded ISO, it can have malware or issues like these.
Anyway, must lock this.
