The forum is like a slow-motion chat, to not repeat points for each new person, easily searchable.
Let me know of the benefit of Discord style for a product support, maybe I'm too old.

I was talking about the discord chat. i know you have a few links for what's up and Reddit.
But I was talking about a voice chat option so i can talk to the community on voice chat and share ideas over the voice channel.

, a lack of time or should I say will for handling feedback in such a demanding format.I even reply email slowly and with intent, I cannot imagine how draining it would be to reply to 100+ of them in a day - in a sped-up format called a chat.
Maybe if I hire a PR person like everyone pretending to do Twitter and Reddit on a bigger scale does.

You allow me to ask where your negative attitude comes from?! I just registered here and already thinking about to delete my account and leave. I also have a "hint" for you: You know why Linux Desktop Systems so slowly progress? Its full of narrow-minded conservative people, all doing their own thing, losing motivation, losing people, and in the end it was just waste of time and skill.
We have a German saying: "Wer nicht mit der Zeit geht, muss mit der Zeit gehen".
Means, who is not able to go with modern, will lose the connect, in the end.

this whole thought of using something like Discord is asking for trouble imho. Nuhi , bless his cotton socks, works hard and the thought of a barrage of people all talking at once and suggesting things verbally is a nightmare and is guaranteed to end in faliure. have to take the moral (and sane) side here. and yes i spelt faliure wrong as i just got up and haven't had my coffee yet.
ditto but tea is my poison and the kettles just boiled just in time for my reeeeestream catch up
thats better, tea and 3 fun size mars bars are a great morning jumpstart
