(Solved) Potential issues with Unattended and Post-Setup after update

Do you have any issues with the latest build and post-setup, without any manual steps?
If you do, and know of any way to replicate the issue, let me know how.|

Thanks.

I have not forgotten about the issue! I was preoccupied with other matters. I should be able to report back this week. So far, the crash from the Post-Setup screen has not occurred again. A new ISO has been made and I'll be doing a few test runs to see if it works. At the moment, the classic "Windows could not update the computer's boot configuration" error keeps popping up so some troubleshooting has to be completed first.

Update:

Well, my installation is continuously failing at the very end due to the boot configuration error. I have been using the same presets and settings since before the March NTLite update. So I am not sure what is causing the issue now.

Additional information:

The unattended preset in NTLite uses a GPT based disk template. I only have the primary partition set to extend with the recovery partition set to 990MB. This has not caused issues before. The created ISO was copied to a flash drive using Rufus with the default GPT/UEFI settings. The PC that the image is being installed onto is set to UEFI with Secure Boot On.

Any ideas on how to proceed? I recall encountering this error several months ago and I solved it by recreating the ISO from scratch. I attempted the same thing, but I still encountered the error. Is there a way to get more detailed error information?

WinPE has failed while trying to update BCD store. It wants to guarantee the restart will boot from the newly installed volume.

Try disabling SecureBoot, or check if there's a possible dual-boot scenario happening with this disk, or another.

I'll check, but I think it may be something else. The test PC is of the same model and specs as all the other test PCs that I have been using for this particular image and so in theory it should work the same as the others. I install fails on the other PCs too.

Update:

The error could not be narrowed down. So the image was remade from scratch again. This time starting with the original Windows ISO. I noticed the final ISO had a significantly larger file size than the previous attempt. I did not change my settings or presets. Maybe NTLite somehow trimmed off more than needed?

Either way the new ISO installed fine. Most of the Post-Setup executed properly. A few programs did not install. Lovely. Back to troubleshooting once again.

Update:

The full Post-Setup process finally completed without issue. For some reason the silent install switches for the two programs that I added had to be changed again. The Post-Setup is consistently working with the newest NTLite update so I suppose that's a wrap! I will add that the quirk of certain added files being inside the "Setup" folder rather than the "Files" folder has introduced some oddities. Namely, I now have to add a script/command to delete the leftover files after programs install.

Forgot to reply to let you know that the newest updates seemingly fixed the Post-Setup crashes/not starting issues.
