Question about Windows 11 23H2 vs Windows 10 22H2

Hello everyone.
I'm new to the NT Lite forums and their software in general.
I've been reading information on the forums for a couple of days but a lot of the stuff I still don't understand.
I'd like to know if there really is any kind of performance difference between Windows 11 23H2 and Windows 10 22H2, if possible.

Thanks.

There's a few W10 vs. W11 benchmark articles online, and you should read them. Like all things, the answer is "it depends."

W11's primary goal wasn't to optimize performance, instead it's about increased kernel security. Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) introduces many changes, mostly to isolate kernel drivers from tampering with memory. VBS adds some overhead as the kernel has to switch between virtualization contexts more than W10.

Good news is you can disable VBS. And some apps are optimized to take advantage of W11 features, so the results you care about can vary.

In the end, the decision is really if you hate W11's desktop or not.

Thanks a lot for your reply and for your time.

I think I am gonna stick with W10, I feel it more responsive and overall bit better performance in general (tested today both versions).

Windows 10 is more mature, even later builds and a lot of work has been done to it by tweakers, w11 is new, personally i prefer a more mature os.
If you are buying new hardware from dell etc then you may not have a choice, win 11 or nothing.

I usually prefer too a more mature OS (Windows 10 in this case), gonna stick to W10 and modify it accordingly to my needs following any guide posted here in the forums (Optimized Image by Hellbovine).

I say an os is mature at 3 years old, ms will(we hope) fixed all the major bugs it had at release and forums will know the os inside and out by then, workarounds tweaks etc.
