Remove Windows Update, Defender and Cortana

Hello Guys,

i've just got my hands on the tool for the first time and wanted to ask, which components are connected to:

-Windows Update
-Windows Defender
-Cortana

and are able to remove, without breaking the OS.

Yes i know removing Cortana also disables the whole SearchShell.

Just wanted to get rid of these three components completely.

Removing cortana is not disabling searchshell anymore
You can remove windows update without breaking anything (you may not able to use microsoft store or add/remove features ask nuhi for correct answer)
I always remove windows defender+securtiy center and i can use everything (i always keep windows firewall tho)

Thank you for the fast answer, i was planing on customising Windows 10 1709, planned on removing all Built-In Apps anyway. So i'll end up with a clean windows, with just a broken search bar as far is i've understood.
