I have not forgotten about the issue! I was preoccupied with other matters. I should be able to report back this week. So far, the crash from the Post-Setup screen has not occurred again. A new ISO has been made and I'll be doing a few test runs to see if it works. At the moment, the classic "Windows could not update the computer's boot configuration" error keeps popping up so some troubleshooting has to be completed first.Do you have any issues with the latest build and post-setup, without any manual steps?
If you do, and know of any way to replicate the issue, let me know how.|
Thanks.
I'll check, but I think it may be something else. The test PC is of the same model and specs as all the other test PCs that I have been using for this particular image and so in theory it should work the same as the others. I install fails on the other PCs too.WinPE has failed while trying to update BCD store. It wants to guarantee the restart will boot from the newly installed volume.
Try disabling SecureBoot, or check if there's a possible dual-boot scenario happening with this disk, or another.
Forgot to reply to let you know that the newest updates seemingly fixed the Post-Setup crashes/not starting issues.Do you have any issues with the latest build and post-setup, without any manual steps?
