Is there any way to remove the wasted space in the task manager
I think people purposely put it there, manually, by clicking on the column divider with the left mouse button, then holding it in and dragging the divider left or right to change the space allocated. I'm on W10 21H2 and there is no wasted space by default (link). I suppose it's possible that some other settings may affect this, such as DPI or other display options, but I've never heard of that being discussed until now. It may also be that this issue is only present until a graphics driver is installed, then it goes away.

I get this with both images made using NTLite but also untouched iso's from Microsoft. But perhaps it's a weird scaling issue where they set a wrong size for a specific resolution and DPI. I didn't look that much into it, but it happens right after installation without ever changing anything - and like I said, even with untouched iso's.. It just looks a bit strange and very much like a bug :)

Just pin Task Manager to the left side of your screen and you're good to go.
Any sorting or other individual improvements on Task Manager will be saved to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\TaskManager as Settings.json.
which can be integrated to your NTL build.
