Why does NTLite insist on requiring an online activation seemingly every time I upgrade?

I have NTLite installed inside a single VM which I use for Windows development mainly but also to build custom ISOs. Ever since I last purchased an upgrade (1/2021), I am being prompted to use online activation. What gives? (The saved/exported license file isn't accepted anymore?!)

I have the same problem. I have used my 5 licenses on two of my computers.. next time i need an offlinecode
