Windows 10 Failed Installation Log Location/Access When Using A VM For Test Install?

Hi,

Where would you find the Windows 10 Install log to try troubleshooting if using a VM & have attached a NtLite.iso for a failed test installation? The specific location or means to access it when using Virtualbox or VMWare for said test install is not mentioned anywhere I could find online, though I'm assume one may have to use the commandline in repair mode to access it-thanks.

Depending what failed, I am interested in debugging so do tell and attach or send me a preset to see the issue.
That said, the error log info.

Okay,

I started the saved win.10 machine VM with the attached ISO to restart the install process, but instead of clicking OK upon getting the error message, I did a Shift+F10 into command prompt so I could CD to the Panther/Sources setup.log & setuperr.log, which I opened using notepad.exe.
Since no desktop or sharing was available due to corruption to save to my shared folders, I actually searched for gmail in Bing using IE (despite a "depreciated browser" message) from the Notepad drop-down menu, went to my gmail after logging in, then attached the 2 logs to send myself pasting the raw text so I could paste it in 2, new Windows 7 notepad files once I closed Virtualbox. A few hoops to be sure, but this method worked!

So here is exactly what you need to see attached, any help would be appreciated, thanks.Windows 10 1903 VM Test Install- Could Not Configure One or More Components (5-13-21).JPG

UPDATE: 5-21-21 (SOLVED).

I gave things another go just today with a new session to see what would happen, in light of a recent NtLite update that actually integrated updates into my deployed VM Windows 10 image, & while I am unsure if Nuhi did it in relation my specific issue, there must have been elements that helped to overcome it, because my newly created ISO WORKED this time with no problems, & on a double lucky-numbered day, yet- so a BIG SIGH & THANKS!
