I'm using NTLite v1.8.0.6582 (x64) to edit a Windows 10 1809 ISO (from Media Creation Tool download). The thing is that a thread in background hangs forever when trying to configure these services for the Boot.wim image (Microsoft Windows Setup (x64)):

You can add registry tweaks at: Integrate\Registry
An example, for removing the Window Store icon from taskbar, create the next registry script file and add it through Integrate\Registry:
Tweak.reg

Thank you, but it does not answer my question. To clarify it: I'm not asking what WinPE is, neither how will be affected the ISO size by the size of drivers, and if I'm willing to integrate some drivers it is because they are not included in Windows (apart from the generic drivers).
What I'm...
Hi.
I have this simple question: if I want that the Windows setup installs the drivers of my hardware components, in which WIM image I must integrate my drivers?, only in Install.wim, or only in Boot.wim, or in both of them?.
Thanks in advance.
No, nothing. When I noticed the Sticky Notes not opening, I literally built a new ISO with same NTLite profile, then I installed the resulting Windows ISO in a new V.M just to log in the O.S and run Sticky Notes, and finally log off and delete the V.M.
But for some reason now it is working as I...
I'm silly. The file was not missing, it just don't exists in this ISO, I ensured it by mounting the WIM image with NTLite and searching the file in the mounted directory.
But I always had that file in Windows 10.16299.15 and previous versions, the path is: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\DirectX for...
Well, confirmed. I don't understand this, I'm not sure what I'm missing in the change-log article but I've installed Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18272 and it does not come with that pretty and improved Sticky Notes, neither in build 18277 as I said before.
I insist again that I have...
In Windows 10.17763.1 x64 (October Update), I removed containers, inputapp and On-Screen Keyboard (and its component sub-trees), Sticky Notes works fine.
Doing same procedure in Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18277, it breaks Sticky Notes.
Regardless of the fact that I'm manipulating a...
Thanks for the tip, after removing Windows Update component (and optional features) I can get smaller ISO sizes than what I got when using NTLite v1.5.
I did the same test using a ISO of Windows 10.17763.1 x64, which is officialy supported by NTLite.
Results are the same with the profile that I attached above.
Using NTLite v1.5.0.5855...

Using NTLite v1.8.0.6582...

As the title says, using the same Install.wim image applying the same profile in NTLite v1.5.0.5855, v1.7.1.6572 and v1.8.0.6582 (beta), the final ISO in size increases by +700 MB.
Why reason can be this difference?. I thought the most recent NTLite versions would give me a benefit in this...
Sorry, me again...
nuhi you said the license survives OS reinstall, but this mean the Windows version installed will NOT affect the generated HWID?. I'm afraid of doing my first activation right now since before December I will perform a fresh, clean reinstallation (no hardware components will...
I understand your point of view and I'm with you, because let's say you log one activation and deactivation on the same day from the same end-user, in many applications that could be considered as a normal behavior (like installing it in a virtual machine and uninstalling it), for example with...
