Missing file after components removal: 'Microsoft.DirectX.DirectInput.dll'

Hi. After removing components from a Windows 10 ISO, for some reason the file 'Microsoft.DirectX.DirectInput.dll' is missing. I need that file for direct input gamepad support for video games and for some specific apps (such as Pointy's Joystick Test).

Someone could help me to discover which component removal is the one that deleted the 'Microsoft.DirectX.DirectInput.dll' flle, please?. It was also removed from the Global Assembly Cache (GAC)

Please see the attached file, that contains the NTLite preset that I used in order to remove components.

You can upload yourpreset xml file using the Attach files button below the box when you create a post. Upload your preset then you can remove the xml from above and the pastebin link. :) If you got the log file, ntlitelog you can upload that too.

Some types of file are not allowed, i cant remember which ones they are so an example, .bat, my preset.bat, so just remane them to my preset.bat.txt.

Actually if you remove the xml code above you could combine both your topics into this one because they are issues from the same build, just cut and paste the sticky notes post to here and put "Please delete :)" on the other one.

Many thanks for the tip, I totally missed the button to attach files, haha!.

Yes really are from the same build, but are different issues mate, its obvious that the same component can't be the root of both problems that I'm suffering, then I prefer to threat these problems individualy, unless a moderator thinks otherwise. Thank you for comment.

I'm silly. The file was not missing, it just don't exists in this ISO, I ensured it by mounting the WIM image with NTLite and searching the file in the mounted directory.

But I always had that file in Windows 10.16299.15 and previous versions, the path is: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\DirectX for Managed Code\1.0.2902.0\Microsoft.DirectX.DirectInput.dll

Probably it's my fault, I start to think that file is installed in some SDK that I always install after installing Windows, and maybe for that reason I thought that file was included by default in the O.S..

Nevermind, problem solved.

Probably it is installed with some .net or .net updates as i have seen some dll's media related in some .net updates.
