Win10 Pro 1903 - Live Install is destroying my active Win8 install

This is getting rather ridiculous. I uninstalled Acronis True Home. Recreated my proposed changes. I am still losing my C:\ProgramData directory. Secure boot is disabled. Windows ADK Kit is NOT installed. In spite of that I still continue on and try to create the image. When I do so I get this...

Win10 Pro 1903 - Live Install is destroying my active Win8 install

Well s**t. Just lost the C:\ProgramData directory. So you are right. It's Acronis True Home that is destroying that directory. Win8-C-ProgramData-Corrupt-2020-06-06.jpg Should I disable the services that Acronis True Home uses or uninstall it entirely before making my images? Attached are...

Win10 Pro 1903 - Live Install is destroying my active Win8 install

Poor Asus johnny. I now have regrown all of my hair  Working like a charm now. Fricking secure boot was the problem from the beginning. Some questions: 1) Setting the partition to install. I'm install to "C" which is an SSD. Should I set the partition to install? Very nervous if I...

OK I was able to disable secure boot and I can still boot into Win 8.1; will now install latest version of nLite and record what I'm doing with Camtasia.

I called ASUS to disable secure boot. He said if I disable secure boot I will not be able to boot into Windows.

OK. I'll disable secure boot/test. I'll also record everything I do with Camtasia and upload the video to Dropbox.

Win10 Pro 1903 - Live Install is destroying my active Win8 install

Something is corrupting the C:\ProgramData directory. I'm not saying it's NLite. But I can't start and complete a session before that directory is completely corrupted. I don't know what happened with the timestamps. I did not change anything. Yes there is a wide gap in the times of the actions...

Win10 Pro 1903 - Live Install is destroying my active Win8 install

I still have not figured this out. I thought it was working properly but here it is again. When I started configuring my image here's how it starts with my settings: I DID UNCHECK "Automatically load present 'Auto-saved session" My original Win8-C-ProgramData directory looked like this: I...

Win10 Pro 1903 - Live Install is destroying my active Win8 install

That defeats the whole purpose of using nTLite. First off I have to load my SATA drivers for a hard drive controller. Second, I'd have to install Win10 clean and then go through the whole process again.

Win10 Pro 1903 - Live Install is destroying my active Win8 install

This is bothersome. I install nLite v 1.9.0.7455-64bit. I have Win8 installed on my machine and I want to make an ISO file to install Win10. I load the original ISO and load it. I then start to make customizations to my new proposed operating system for Win10 and I LOSE my settings on my...

    Win10 Pro 1903 - Adding drivers to boot.wim?

I'm working to create an image: Windows 10 Pro x64 1903 en-US. I've extracted the original ISO and it is loaded. I need to add my Hard Drive Controller driver so that the driver is available when I boot to the USB drive when I install windows. I already have the driver added in the Integrate...
